Stunning footage and photos. Mike I can always watch your video all through out and always a big thumbs up on the video, always a great voice over on each video. Keep it up! 👍👏
thank you for your good work which I find full of love and kindness. I had a dream in which a nice kind man - generous to me - was treated discourteously and I pray now that such discourtesy finish. I need your warmth and generous love.
Personal favourite is the oyster catcher in flight. Getting the wing pose right, focus on its head perfect and then have it flying with food is not something thats easy for me, or most folks I guess. Great shot and fingers crossed for a great 2024!
Stunning photographs and video clips Mike, well done. I live in East Sussex and a couple of hundred yards from me is a very large man made lake with plenty of reed beds. I hear Cetti's warblers there throughout the winter. In the spring large numbers of Reed warblers and to a lesser extent Sedge warblers nest there. Geoff.
Very well put together and edited Mike. Must admit, from the title I was half expecting a set of clips cut and pasted from previous TH-cam videos but your efforts here are a lot better than that. Thank you for sharing yet again.
Brilliant video of some lovely birds. Really fortunate for us to have someone going places and even getting in swamps to get us stunning birds in action photos. 2023 was a great year. Wishing You the same for 2024! Happy birding!
Always look forward to these videos. They make me realize I have a long way to go with my meager skills but they give me something to shoot for. Thanks for posting.
Loved the Blackbird and the Blackcap. I had a similar still of a singing Blackcap that Springwatch used in a feature on springtime a few years ago. I haven’t been out much the last 2 years, I’m waiting for a knee op, things like this keep me going, I always look forward to your videos on a Saturday morning, thanks.
Brilliant as always! You are such an inspiration to me yo try and photograph as many British bird varieties, not just record photos, but hopefully great photographs like yours!
As always Mike a pleasure to keep up with your imaging. Some great shots here, I wonder what this year will bring and maybe new gear from OM. Keep up the super work..DO you think you could shoot as good of shots with just the G911 with the slower sensor readout?
The slower sensor readout does not effect quality so yes. I have stopped using the G9 Mk2 for stills mainly because I can't cope with two cameras. I keep hitting the wrong button. If I just use it for video I am okay.
@@MikeLaneFRPS I know… can’t believe they didn’t do all that is rumoured as a firmware update.. a bigger sensor would have been nice and video bird tracking to match the lumix 🙏
Hello Mike! I have a question ? I have Bought new OM-1 with 300 F4 pro + MC-14. Need your help with setup: Can i assign some button for shutter modes switch? I mean if i push it 1 time -it's pre-capture 2, second time - SH2. Thank you! Now i just made C2 and C3 modes for it, but it's wheel - not button
Not sure I understand the question, but if you go to the setting where you assign functions to Buttons you can select a button an dthen see all the options you can change. It does allow you to select C1, C2 etc. Maybe this is what you want. I tried it once and found myself getting confused with it, so now just use the dial to change from C1 to C2 etc.
Sometimes I put the tripod mount to the top so I am holding the lens barrel. Sometimes I hold the lens mount. Mostly (95% of the time) I have the lens on a tripod. @@UnluckyNewbie
Do you ever think about being on a front cover of a magazine? With these photos 100% would think about selling calendars. I could be being stupid here as you might have already, but I would love to buy one if you ever think about it.
I don't think anyone would want me on their front cover! My pictures of wildlife have been on many front covers, but I have never counted them. No money in calendars in my experience.
Stunning footage and photos. Mike I can always watch your video all through out and always a big thumbs up on the video, always a great voice over on each video. Keep it up! 👍👏

Yes and the info leaked so far for the camera is disappointing

@@MikeLaneFRPS mike, I have another question. It's not so comfortable to gold om-1 + 300f4 + mc-14 - you hold it with tripod mount or just handheld ?
