Great tutorial thanks! Quick question... The length parameter that you extract for example, where does the "get_Parameter(BuiltInParameter.)" come from? What I mean is where do you get the correct syntax to execute that command. I cant find where the phrase "get_Parameter" comes from and the same with "BuiltInParameter"
Nice Video. How about column dimensions 'b' and 'h'. There are no built in parameters for that. Same script won't work for column dimensions. Can you please tell how to get those dimensions . Thanks
LOOK UP and your channel very interesting, btw the projectparameters are alphabetically sorted in LOOKUP. Why we have this functionality in in the propertybox within REVIT?
it's very good explanation for me as i am also a beginner to revit python. I would really appreciate if you could explain about Revit API and it's syntax , how to use with the python as revit api doc provided with example for C# , VB mostly but a few only example for python. I am really struggling to digest the revit api syntax to be able to use in Python. Will be waiting for your upcoming video . Thank you very much
after a long time now only i understand how to get a parameter value through python.. thanks alot but still i was stuck how to addin revit lookups in my revit can you please help me out
Thank you! I don't have any courses, I try to provide all the information I know for free via TH-cam videos. Is there anything specific you are looking for?
