She knows her kind’s tech, so it might be a tad predictable to her. That, or she’s learned from the previous attack. Plus, the bus was a bit difficult given it was constantly changing directions, which threw off her aim a bit. Those are my thoughts, anyway for those who disagree.

The queen's design is really awesome, and her armor was even more awesome but too bad this was her first ground battle and this mustve been her first rodeo since she made bad tactical decisions

Queen has accuracy with advanced weaponry to shoot down advanced fighter jets. But decides to chase a school bus instead of shooting it.

This movie proves that Roland is brilliant at storytelling and world building and he has some brilliant ideas... but he can’t direct actors. I do hope we see a third film but leave directing actors to someone else and have him on the ideas and world building side of things.

Would it kill scriptwriters to do something halfway sensible for once ?
-You've got VTOL fighters which can hover. Why are they doing strafing runs close enough to be shot at or physically struck ?
-The base defenses. Why aren't the energy weapons using something like a phalanx anti-aircraft cannon with automated radar-guided targeting faster than a human can do so ?
@ericb31 They wouldn't be firing at the mothership (it would be pointless anyway). I'm talking about the manually targeted cannons and rifles on the ground firing at the fighters after the queen left her ship, and the fighters who attacked her on the ground.
(i) The human fighter aircraft had rapid-firing cannons. Why didn't they just hover off out of range of her tentacles and blast her till she was killed ? There was no need for them to get close enough to be smacked out the sky.
(ii) Why aren't the anti-aircraft guns automated, and using the same kind of rapid-fire cannons on the aircraft ? They'd be hugely more effective than manually shooting at aircraft.

Why would the Queen be 100 times bigger than the drones? I thought this was going to be an alien movie, but it turned out to be just one of those big giant monster movies.
Movie makers made an advanced intelligence aliens and to show how intelligence they are, they sent the leader to go chase after a school bus.

Getting into her suit was just an epic scene. This movie may not have been that good, but there were some awesome moments. I loved the concept, I love the queen and the futuristic looking cities, and that amazing soundtrack. But the acting and speed of the movie was really rushed.
Yes that is right. The film was ridiculous, the script and the acting were bad. but the visual effects of the movie were great.

This movie had the potential to be as great as the first, it had the potential to be wayy better.
The queen has massive space fleets, millions of fighter pilots, huge drone ships and mega carrier. With the technology to cross interstellar space, but she's going to risk her life to get down on the ground and chase a bus full of kids and not be able to catch it?? The Blue Bird bus was able to out maneuver a giant, super intelligent alien, while simultaneously she knocks and shoots super fighter jets out of the air????
And a swarm of 300,000 fighters can't take down 2 of their own?? Why are none of the fighters actually protecting her, they are just aimlessly flying in circles and completely ignoring the fact, 2 fighters are shooting hundreds of lasers at their queen, at their reason to exist, the one being the perpetuates their species..
