The Jaya Beemon Foundation was founded in memory of Jaya Beemon an 18 year old nursing student who was an innocent bystander and was murdered by 3 idiots that shot blindly in an convenience store. The foundation is bringing awareness to the senseless killings by urban terrorist. Individuals killing innocent people trying to be the Judge, Juror, and Executioner….. Jaya was innocent she had just left the shedd aquarium and stopped at the store to get snacks. You mentioned Jaya great grandmother ( Jaya was 4 when she passed of natural causes in 2006). Her grandmother and her mother have NOT been convicted of any crimes they are law bidding citizens. You are pushing hard to discredit them, because you are affiliated with the killers. Jaya Beemon mother is a Registered Nurse and the state of Illinois does thorough background checks.

My prayers are with each and every family experiencing their loss. May God comfort you all to your very souls. It has been almost fourteen years ago when I loss my son to gun violence and I'm still grieving. It is hard to enjoy life without him, but God will send you a word, a message, a butterfly, or something to remind you, he is still with you and your love one is in a better place. I had to learn this is my journey to carry on and not let my son's death be in vain. I too joined a community group fighting against violence. We offer love and mentoring to our youth. Thank you ladies for supporting one another and giving back to your community.

Until the people wake the hell up, the violence will not stop. The violence is the result of bad parents of the knockout game players, knife artist, shooters. The parents failed as parents, that is the problem, the biggest problem.
I don't know if this will help but if you hang a photo of the parents next to the criminal every time you show the criminal will it give all the rest of the parents to pay attention to their kid, keep them on the straight and narrow.

No matter what you did in your grief, you should have been comforted and taken to be with your daughter in the ER. Tougher gun laws needed. Geez. You’re an amazing person for trying to improve our country and preventing other families from experiencing the same nightmare when you are suffering so much. These moms are heros. There should be a team of real dedicated lawyers, detectives, etc. who listen to their knowledgeable input and fight to help them help the cities and their citizens get on top of gun control. It seems like Jaya fulfilled her Purpose and the LORD called her home. Nyisha did a great job raising Jaya and she should be very proud of herself.
