Bryson hit 5 fairways and shot 1 over par. He should of shot 75 or 76, but he reached deep down and scrambled on every shot. It was a thing of hero status. The fans could see it. They connected. Bryson WON when he hit the hardest shot in golf a 55 yard bunker shot that was unbelievable. Bryson's caddy got him there. They bond. Welcome to the next level Bryson.
As a Bryson fan, it was fun to watch. Rory is such cry baby. Rory choked on the 72nd hole and now Amanda Baloinis is choking on him.

Rory is paid a shitload of money from PIP to show true professionalism, grow the game, engage with the fans and all the happy horseshit they talk about. Yet he acted like a total douchenozzle. I'm sorry, but after this, he is by far the face of the PGA. I have no sympathy for his actions.

Leaders face the music. Leaders don’t run out the second it goes wrong. Look at Washed up Mickelson in 2006 when he blew the 2 shot lead on the final hole and finish 2nd to Ogilvy. He stayed and did every interview. The measure of a leader is how they act when sh*t happens.
go back to the Canadian Open for the “players only” meeting when the LIV news hit. What did Rory say to the 125th ranked player worried about financial impacts of LIV in that meeting? “Just play better”…..man I love irony
@TophsBats-bb4bx his own team was scrambling around because he left quicker than an atheist in a Catholic Church. Rory left for one reason and one reason alone. He chocked. Face the music, congratulate the winner and be an adult. Find me one other player in the last 30 majors who left the course less than 6 minutes after play. It doesn’t exist. If he really is the leader than you should be critical. Can’t have it both ways.

The greens were fast and true any good putters dream. Holding the greens from shots off them is what made them hard.
I found it peculiar Rory's newly reconciled wife and daugther weren't there for the final round to celebrate what could have been a monumental Father's Day victory.

He played well, in fact he made some long putts. I would not label his performance bad to be honest. Recall that he was 3-4 strokes back at the beginning of the round. He made a valiant effort.
He missed two three ft putts on 16 and 18. Not a valiant effort

Rory’s putt on 18 was missable. It was the putt on 16 he yipped.

Told my wife as the back nine started Rory can't putt and then he sinks three long ones. Well in the end he couldn't putt. To miss two short ones with the tournament on the line at that level is one of the biggest chokes in sports history considering he is 2 in the world and not a journeyman. Like the Frenchman who lost on the last hole of the British Open but he was a journeyman. I say he never wins another major because of this and a ten year drought. It's like missing an extra point to win the SB! 2.5 foot putt!
He isn't one tenth the sportsman that Bryson is who signed the hat of a mentally challenged person in a wheelchair while walking to the next tee.
