Malaysia is not a muslim country. It is secular, multi cultural and open country just that majority of the population are muslims but there are 40% non muslim. In many areas, there are more non muslims. All Malaysians also enjoy freedom of religion as enshrined in the federal constitution.

    • @herihazril

@@herihazril Please read the statement from Tunku Abdul Rahman, Islam as the official religion doesn't mean it's a muslim country but, it's muslim majority that is agreed. Furthermore, there are freedom of religion as enshrined in the federal constitution.
This is the statement from Tunku Abdul Rahman with some narrative. This is history and facts.
Tunku Abdul Rahman, once famously stated in Parliament that Malaysia is a secular state.
Indeed, Tunku actually said the following in Parliament (in response to an assertion by an MP that Malaysia was an Islamic state): 'I would like to make clear that this country is not an Islamic state as is generally understood, we merely provide that Islam shall be the official religion of the State.' (Hansard, May 1,1958).

      @leealex24 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@herihazril In the White Paper which introduced the Constitution ('Federation of Malaya Constitutional Proposals 1957') it was stated (para 57) that there 'has been included in the proposed Federal Constitution a declaration that Islam is the religion of the Federation. This will in no way affect the present position of the Federation as a secular state.'

Hi chris , u are right malaysia is a muslim country but at the same time we have a lot of non muslim chinese indians and also in the borneo.
So the selling of non muslim food or pork is common to accomodate to the non muslims.
Were muslim majority but we dont restrict the practice of other people as long as it doesnt go against our constitution.

14:30 The Chinese food in Jalan Alor is from the Malaysian Chinese, and not China. The Malaysian Chinese cuisine is a fusion of unique Malaysian flavours. Malaysian food in general is a mixture of many cultures, mainly from the major races or ethnicities of Malaysia (Malay, Chinese & Indian). There are also Siamese Malaysians (& Malaysian Thais), that’s why it’s quite common to see Malaysian Thai cuisines as well.

What makes Malaysia an Islamic country that allows all cultures and religions to be practiced in Malaysia. First, because the Malaysian constitution allows the religion and culture of non-Muslim citizens to practice their religious beliefs, culture and language. Second, Islam forbids its people to insult the religion of other races. In a hadith it is also recorded that Prophet Muhammad S. A. W. said, whoever takes the rights of non-Muslims, even if it is little, I will defend them in the afterlife. In Malaysia, even though non-halal restaurants are allowed to operate, gambling premises are run, but there must be a signboard stating that it is not halal to make it easier for Muslims to choose halal food for them. The tolerance of the Malays in Malaysia with other races has been going on for centuries, since the time of the Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century. There is no doubt that there are also fanatical Muslims who actually do not practice the true religion of Islam but are just blind followers. The same is true in Malaysia where 4 out of 13 states are ruled by parties that practice fanatical Islam. These people may ridicule my opinion, but their group is a minority.

Tiger Beer is from Singapore. It’s considered imported beer in Europe and is actually more expensive and yet Europeans love Tiger Beer.. haha shrugs

Tiger beer not from Thailand. It can be considered local beer as well because it so common in Malaysia. But the fact is Tiger beer owned by Singapore produced by Malayan brewery co.

Times Square of KL. Michelle Yeoh just won the Oscar's -- and this is a fitting "holler holler" for Malaysia. Sirens pretty annoying tho'. The massage strip somehow discreet lol -- the heat is on in KL 😂(original line from Miss Saigon musical).
"I'm okay right now, thank you." -- Chris
"Happy enin (ending lol)." -- Wayne
Solo and the new recruit tryna elope to virtual madness right through the "happy hour alley".
Such a fun group. Chris got a movement. 👊👏👋

    Tiger beer
    Singapore
Tiger pioneered a new category of Asian Beer and created the quintessential brew in the process. From Malayan Breweries Limited in Singapore, the world's first batch of Tiger Beer greets the world with a refreshing beer for a tropical climate.

Hi Chris, our religion is stated in our birth certificate and also ID card, so if there's authority checking on Muslims drinking alcohol, the ID will be checked first. If there's any religion changes, the ID also need to be updated at the Registration Office. And we Asians generally can tell from facial/body features which races other Asians are from ie between Chinese vs Pinoy vs Thais vs Vietnamese, or between Malaysian Javanese/Malays and Indonesian Javanese/Malays.

Generally speaking it's not illegal to sell pork, most non-halal stuff will show up at non-halal areas like Jalan Alor. Most major shopping malls' food court don't have pork so that non-muslims can go enjoy food (if you notice). Just those small untold rules in Malaysia, don't worry too much about it. 😅
