The grim reaper doesnt have a day off, is always working and dont care where you are and what you are doing. Watched a girl in her twenties doing light weight squats at a gym, when she suddenly stops for a second standing up and then falls face first and that was it, she was a goner ..... This grim guy is always on the clock standing right next to you just incase he catches you slipping

They don't care about safety if it means sacrificing profits, only care for safety when it'll hurt their bottom line which it mostly doesn't

It's too bad that these men weren't tied off up top with tethers attached to their safety harnesses that they should have been wearing. They could have been dragged out much quicker than they obviously were. If we are required to wear safety harnesses just to drive a small scissor lift at zero extension than how could these men work a 30' deep hole without being tied off too?

This is really sad because underground excavation safety protocols with proper training an implication there’s no reason for these kind of accidents to happen anymore.
It’s usually due to taking shortcuts trying to do something quicker trying to save money. Or the wrong individuals who are not properly educated, suring up for type of soil conditions.
Investigators will find something was not properly implemented on the procedures on the retention wall .

We all work, side by side, hours on end, we spend our lives working beside one another sharing that Human bond that once was strangers to one another, we spend more time together than with our own families, to the point, we strangers become almost like family, in a sense that bond is to also conquer a goal, project, to put food on the table, at the end of the day we don't think about not coming home..... Prayers to everyone involved 😢
