    So THAT was what was lacking in my composition ... I found them too straightfoward and uninteresting. I'll try the exercise and hope something might click :D
    Thank you so much for that video

    NO DISLIKES. This just shows that your community is very strong with aspiring artists who are here for your guidance. No haters here that just dislike the video for no reason ✊

      It’s an outlier there’s an average of 3-4 dislikes most of the time 😄

    Thanks for this video, I’m just getting into location and structure thumbnails for my graphic novel and since I’ve been writing more than drawing, seeing something like this is really helpful.

    Wow i have been wondering about a way to implement something like gesture into the environment in order to tell the story better and you literally explain that in this video!
    Somehow it feels similar with a figure gesture where shapes, flows and overlaps are the most important aspect
    Thanks for making this video, you really inspire me to do a new exercise approach in order to improve my storytelling skill :D

    Hello Tyler in minute 5 for the first exercise , does the photo reference needs to be in a good composition or not?

    • @TylerEdlin84
      @TylerEdlin84  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No it doesn’t most photos from google earth aren’t good compositions so your job would be to fix it and improve it

    I hope im not too late to ask this question but I am a bit confused on what exactly is the exercise we are doing? I watched the video but I dont think It was out right stated what the exercise is. From what I can piece together we are getting a reference image from google and using that reference image to create a new and original composition based on the elements seen in the reference photo? Is this correct? I will watch the video again in the future to see what I may have missed but am I on the right track?

    • @TylerEdlin84
