You definitely were an inspiration for me to put my hair in plaits for the majority of 2024. I had to covert to loose twists in October due to a setback with Shea butter, but i retained a lot of length. Keep going Sis! It’s definitely a journey. Happy New Year! 💕💜
I have fine hair, nothing like yours, but i too have had a similar journey - my hair is healthy and armpit length but i have accepted it for what it is. fROM YOU i have learnt, key is learning your hair and then being consistency in what works. x Happy new Year
Thank sis, you are such an inspiration to us. Everything you have said it true. Am dealing with shedding at the moment and my hair with a little bit of breakage but I won’t give up at all. The most exciting part of this is that, even though my hair shed a lot, but it is so thick more than before and I have to cut some of my ends off. Me too I won’t make my braids to small this time. It a journey and am learning a lot too. God bless you ❤.
Love your video! I just hope women will be ok with having hair that is not waist length. We need to stop the obsession to reach waist length! Growing healthy hair is awesome but the emphasis on reaching waist length is so pervasive in the natural hair community. I just wish healthy hair, no matter the length, was the emphasis - short; medium lengths too. All beautiful! I don’t think people even realize how they speak and unintentionally say things that show how much they value specific lengths. Just food for thought as I ramble. Nevertheless I truly enjoyed your video and think you have beautiful hair!

Happy 2025 Sara💕
I’d really like to do mini twists etc but it matts so much when I do . Any advice ?
hey sis I'm still figuring this out. I think it is depending on hair and how long you keep the braids in. taking down the style gently will help💕
