i love that foxy is raging so hard it takes multiple pairs of hands to hold him down
It's Foxy, he was always twitchy. Unpredictable, agressive, and now combustable (as his arm caught fire while on the set of the movie) is so in character for foxy
I feel like it's more of a thing that Shadow Freddy is trying to keep control of the last animatronic, please, the dude has an open chest and is generally pretty aggressive

The way the freeplay menu popup text described it, it sounded like Miller was the secret song again. I beat Miller, and my friend pointed out "Miller was already unlocked, it was there before we beat the other one". Being able to pull that after flat out saying we've already heard the secret song before is impressive.
The fact the devs were able to give a feeling of tension by saying just enough for us to assume incorrectly is incredible. Easily my favorite mod this community has given us.

I absolutely love how up until this point, the mod had been strictly and entirely focused on jokes and community gags, but then this final song hits and all hell breaks loose as one of the best Fnf songs ever starts blasting through your head and gameplay shifts to dead serious and pretty ominous. I love its duality and the song hits way harder than it has any right to. 1987/10 easily

I love the fact they made it to where BF is absolutely terrified of Shadow Freddy because of what he’s told and sees. I love that Shadow Freddy shows him what he can do to make you miserable. By far the most intense song I’ve ever played. I’ll never FC this but this is the first song I’ve died multiple times too since this whole game came out. Good job Kiwiquest

its not in character but it is cool as hell.
For this song, I feel like a reasonable explanation for shadow freddy being around in general may be because he's a physical (or as physical as you can get) manifestation of Agony. Of course, this ties in pretty well with more recent discoveries in the lore of the franchise itself. Since Agony can be felt in more than one way, shadow freddy embodies every kind in the form of the main FNAF cast. This would explain the exaggerated poses of some of the characters, with Foxy being the most aggressive since he saw the massacre (or the aftermath thereof) himself, because of the GO GO GO text from the minigame.
Interesting theory I like to think this is hinting at shadow Freddy being a demon that was responsible for the missing children incidents and how he is controlling the spirits by cursing their souls with rage and insanity to kill anyone that enters the building at night it even hints at it with the spirits being held by puppet strings in this it’s symbolic of how their nothing but puppets to this constant cycle of death and torment and how shadow Freddy is the puppet master

Yeah duh, Ourple Guy has it's own version of BF named Brooke.
You know, it's not too common to see BF (albeit this is Brooke, not BF, but still) this truly terrified. Usually he's just nervous, but Shadow Freddy is truly terrifying to BF(Brooke). Also those final 4 verses slap, seeing BF(*B R O O K E*) completely terrified as he gets increasingly more terrified is cool.

I love the helath bar of this song. And love how chica t-poses in the down pose.
So, hot take, but I think that SF in this song is meant to represent a vindictive force against the souls of the children.
Now, hear me out.
Nearly all of SF's poses are focused around two things: Eyes and Teeth, which, in the words of the immortal Phone Guy, would likely be the only thing to see the light of day after an *animatronic* stuffs someone into an endo'd suit. Which, inevitably, would all be adults, since it would be near impossible for a person to compress and contort a human cadaver in the ways that the animatronics do. Those poses of maiming, such as the spine being visible in Stage 2 Left and various ripped open jaws would need to be done by enormous force, source being, most likely, the spooked bots.
The abundance of eyes also seem to imply intense scrutiny of something, in my mind, the souls of the children responsible for the death/s of whoever composes SF.
Additionally, the four score segment of the original cast all seem to focus on them being bound, indicated by the puppeteer's cross between ephemeral hands, and hurt in some way. I interpret their suffering as:
Freddy, in a constant experience of dying and delirious because of it, hence being far harder to make out than the others.
Bonnie, being crippled and maimed and experiencing it as a fresh sensation, as per the blood, every moment.
Chica, much the same as Bonnie but the sensation of rotting away.
Foxy, being bound by hands and unable to do anything and having a constant drone of "Go! Go! Go!" in the background, most likely its mind. Also note that it's the only sequence where the background isn't eyes, but a mad collage of red, seeming to encourage a useless frenzy.
Therefore, I conclude that SF is literally a manifestation of spiteful victims of the dead children's killings, and is only concerned with leaving them totally impotent, which also lines up with the appearance of SF in the minigames of FNaF3, being the one to lead the animatronics to be dismantled, which leaves them as nothing more than angry phantoms. It literally doesn't care about Afton, since it doesn't show up to lead the Crying Child.
Where Shadow Bonnie actively seems to want to end the suffering and let everyone, including the children, rest, Shadow Freddy only cares that the children can't kill, or do anything of real significance anymore. Whether they have to fester forever in grief or find peace doesn't matter to it. It only wants them incapable of doing anything.

Not a bad theory. It also seems like Shadow Freddy's control isn't voluntary due to one of the frames in the last segment. At 5:25, there's a frame where Shadow Freddy's hands are holding up a blue figure which looks like Boyfriend, and like the other animatronics, Boyfriend has white dots in his eyes. That frame along with the Shadow Freddy closeup is used in the transition where Shadow Freddy moves behind Boyfriend, so it stands to reason that the image is being shown as a threat.
This is even better then what I thought when I first heard the Mewmix version. This song is basically a mix of “catchy and upbeat” to actually disturbing as hell. Love it

On the youtube stream of Ourple Guy developers, someone asked about Shadow Freddy and this version is actually have a name - Sinnoh. Tbh not sure why this was chosen as the name of Shadow Freddy, but still quite a cool feature
And dang, the fact that he contols(i suppose) the legendary four animatronics is very amazing and especially that Foxy is such a beast, that Sinnoh have to hold his parts with his own hands is amazing.

Honestly one of the best parts about this song's upgrade is seeing a bunch of people assume Miller is the finale of the mod still, see it in Freeplay after selecting it _without_ any sort of buildup like there was previously, get confused, _and then essentially shit themselves upon selecting the REAL final song._

Shadow Freddy is one of the two secret duodenary antagonists in Five Nights At Freddy's 2 alongside Shadow Bonnie and (although he only appears in the end of each night's mini games aside from Night 5) is the secondary antagonist in Five Nights At Freddy's 3. He is an enigmatic character in the second game whose intentions are unclear, whereas in the third game, he is clearly seen helping the Killer destroy the animatronics.
Shadow Freddy originally appears in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 in the Parts/Service camera rarely and can only be seen after every other withered animatronic (including Withered Foxy) has moved, found sitting in the area where Withered Bonnie normally sits.
Shadow Freddy has exactly the same appearance as Golden Freddy's withered appearance, albeit being recolored dark purple. Unlike Golden Freddy, he has large glowing bright eyes and teeth

Smth i didnt notice until i listened to this version a few times is that foxy's part ends...with Eggman's leitmotif from triple trouble lol. Which honestly i think is cool as hell, but of all the many leitmotifs in this song that would be the one i least expected!
One thing I love about that is people say that Eggman is "resisting sonic's influence" or like, forcing his way into the song and stuff like that. And to be honest, I think that fits Foxy in this case lmao.

there’s a bug in the current update where missing a single note after chicas part is an insta death, they’re working on a patch for that tho!

Gf can’t get him outta this one.. I like to think shadow Freddy caught “Brooke”. This mods bfs name. Off guard separating the two, going after bf due to him being weaker and not having much demonic power. I do not know if gf has her powers in this mod. But after the last song let’s say dismantle, bf had won but seeing as afton had just died, it drew out agony causing shadow Freddy to appear snatching bf into his reality until he can last for 6 minutes. Keeping him at bay until gf can find a way or until the 6 minutes have passed
