I love all music and had the opportunity to see her in concert......phenomenal. She attracts the widest audience I have ever seen. Very young to very old, working class, wealthy..you name it. Her show was family friendly, clean, high energy, emotional, and of course, that voice.
Sam mentioned it's crazy her vocals were that strong even way back in her career. I remember seeing her bio on American Idol back in 2005. Just a sweet girl on a farm in Oklahoma. Capitol Records hit her up early on, but it wasn't her time yet. I watched her all season on A.I. and it was no contest. What you see here is what she gave there. 🌟 Sam, I saw you get a bit emotional. You're a sweetheart. For the sassy Carrie watch "Before He Cheats" 😂 she won CMA's Female Vocalist of the Year and Single Record of the Year, for "Before He Cheats." My personal favorite song of hers is "Wasted".
Her song "Last Name" is really fun, with a great twist ending.
So very awesome. I followed her on American Idol. Love this song so much. It has a special meaning to me. My first husband left me in December 2004 after 24 years of marriage. The night he said he wanted a divorce (he had been gone 3 months already) I laid on my bed and said Jesus I can't do this on my own. The very first time I heard this song it just stuck in my heart. Some other songs to consider by her are "Last Name", "Blown away", "Temporary Home", and "Just a dream". If you do the last two tho, tell Sam to keep some tissues handy. They're tear jerkers. Lol
Beyond songs of hers I find my favorite two of my favorite moments was her getting invited to join the Opry by randy Travis and then her singing with Steven Tyler her joy on stage
She has absolutely the most beautiful voice

This was her first hit after American Idol she was advised not to sing the song because it talked about Jesus but Carrie said country music has always sang about Jesus and I am so glad she did not let them deter her from singing about Jesus and her faith in Jesus❤❤
She has such an amazing voice. She has so many great songs. I love watching the video "The Champion". Its amazing and features Ludacris.
This was her first hit after winner American Idol, off that first album. Carrie can sing absolutely anything. She was touring with Bon Jovi this summer & one of my favorite performances by her is one she did with Steven Tyler. They were at teh 46th ACM awards show & they sang his song 'Walk this way' together & then Carries hit 'Undo it'. Super electric performance!
Great reaction guys! Not sure what else you've heard Carrie perform, but Carrie displays a couple other facets of her talent from time to time. Check out "Poor Everybody Else", or her CMA performance of "Choctaw County Affair". She even flirts with hip hop in "The Champion", or her CMA performance of "Southbound" attitude! And did you know she does a mean cover of "Paradise City" and of "Welcome To The Jungle"?

Carrie is amazing,and so is this song!I really enjoy hearing songs of faith,and there are so many amazing Contemporary Chridtian artists to tap into.A great artist to check out is Zach Williams.He has a great voice,country/Christian.He did a playworthy song with Dolly Parton called There was Jesus.Start there,and if you like him,follow up with No Longer Slaves live at Harding Prison,an absolute must!🎶👊

Carrie's got a few great songs. I always liked "So Small" and "Wasted". Both songs have a great message behind them.
Love this song for several reasons, I was going to church, I live 45 miles so have to get on the highway, I was driving one morning in a small S-10 and that song came on, a buck crossed the 4 lane and I hit it I hit him in his right back, he broke the front of the truck,it actually knocked the cables off the battery, Jesus took the wheel s going 60 miles an hour, and I never left the road, Now you tell me if Jesus took the wheel, Thank you both and I hope ya'll for your reactions I hope ya'll have

I'm not a Christian, but I'm not afraid to say that there are some great Christian songs(and, tbh, a lot of really awful ones).
God gave us free will, so if you let go of the steering wheel, then it is your will to be in an uncontrolled vehicle, Jesus wont go against your will, so don't listen to Carrie. This song makes no sense at all.
