    Gout is a crystalline inflammatory monoarthritis arthritis that affects the first metatarsophalangeal joint (big toe, or 1st MTP).
    Pseudogout is acrystalline inflammatory mono-oligo-or-poluarthritis arthritis that affects the knee, wrist, elbow, ankle, and 2nd or 3rd MTP joints.
    Gout is deposition of monosodium urate (MSU) crystals.
    Pseudogout is deposition of calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate (CPPD) crystals.

    Non related question no the video: I've spent a bit over 30 minutes now looking for a video in which you briefly explained why the left renal vein typically gets thrombosed but I cannot find it :/ .
    Thank you for keeping up uploading videos like this. They really help me to refresh knowledge from other subjects I'm not currently studying :)

      Babesia Regarding the renal vein thrombosis...What underlying condition are you talking about?

    Psuedogout = more often diet related.
    Osteoarthritis = just the joints wearing away

      Wrong, you’re thinking gout which is due to high Uric acid. Pseudogout can occur from high Uric acid, but diet does not improve Pseudogout symptoms, especially if the patient has hereditary hemochromatosis. I know because I have both. I’ve been on a low Uric acid diet and plant-based diet, which is a low inflammatory diet, for 4 years now. My Pseudogout has advanced regardless of diet or iron managed phlebotomies. Trust me, I’d LOVE this to be only diet controlled like normal gout.
