    QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What projects would you use these paints on?

Fun have, since the Disgusting Slime is almost fluorescent, it helps to have a brighter white or light yellow underneath to really help it pop.

Seems like best application for the new Disgusting Slime is to treat like a flourescent paint, then?

It's been really good fun trying out these paints, i feel like a kid! haha
It would have been amazing if it still had that thicker feel of the old paint, but then kept the colour of the new one and you had a nice Radioactive Sludge look, i can't think of a paint on the market like that.
Ive not used the Glow paints yet, and after playing around with these, i think the slime will make an appearance for them as it would be an interesting one for things like weapon glows - OOOhh maybe for Necrons!
But it's been really fun playing around and experimenting with the new effects paints so far, really enjoying them, the rusts and the bloods have been my favourite! :)

Thanks for your videos! The ideas how to use the effect paints are really awesome. 👍

Excellent! Would love to see how you painted these nurgle deamons, they look great!

Great suggestion! I'll have to put that on my list and buy some more. I started them a while back so they all have a varied amount of paint on them.
But I shall certainly add to then and make a video :):)

The Vomit+glue has quite a nice effect.
The pools are however really disappointing as they loose all their colors and depth effect.
I did not know that the AK water would retract that much.
    Thx for the test.

    • @SwordsandBrushes
      @SwordsandBrushes  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I thought it would happen with the individual pools as it's just paint so i would have expected it to lose it's volume - but thats the nice thing about testing them out and experimenting with them and i can share my findings :)
The AK water is a bit annoying, it's the first time i used the product (i've used only their 'Puddles' one before) but it does retract a bit.
For best results you would need to do multiple layers - for something small like this base it would probably need to be about 5, as there is already 3 on there.
But i suppose it's less expensive than buying a load of resin instead - my search for a good water effects product continues...

I like the effect of mixing them softly, never thought of that

It was just something that popped into my head, and i knew i wanted something on my nurgle bases that would give an extra bit of detail - now i just want to make some more sludge pools for actual scenery! haha

Yes! Mod Podge glossy glue would be awesome. I've done small watery pools and then used that glue for some ripples.
What do you reckon i should try it on/with for an effect?
