Thing that sucks the most about the game is playing around the doors. One person is low they run and close doors. They recover and chase the other guy, and then they run. They need to give both players an interaction speed penalty on an instance of damage interaction for 30-60 seconds. Example -50% doors interaction speed when in combat with a player called adrenaline shakes. Wears off on its own after the fight.
Not that rangers arent op right now, but backstep op? You killed him in 2 hits is he not allowed to have an escape tool? At leasts its not moonwalk or phantomize
I think the issues is rangers are meant to be ranged and with backstep they are allowed to be a more melee class and make lots of mistakes since they have the get out of jail card. I'm not a fan of the running door closing meta that's been in the game forever
@@masonlazy2740 I think he means that rangers can get away with a lot of little mistakes. Getting cornered is more than a little mistake, its a handful of mistakes culminating in a bad position. Anyways, personally I don't mind backstep, all I've ever wanted is for rangers to be more restricted on the amount of traps they can place. My proposal is that they can bring a bunch, but can only set up to 3 at a time. Setting a fourth breaks the first you put down and so on.
While I'm not 'defending' the situation, people also recognize it's a situation of scale. Everyone knows longsword riposte has absurdly high damage, but has its direct limits. Backstep has very few, provided the player's mechanical skill begins to fail them. It's a lot more forgiving in the larger scale of how it can and IS used.
moonwalk is only an issue since it is on druid. phantomize is pretty annoying if they have a lot of mobs on them to ensure their safety. the reason why backstep is also annoying to because of their range. hit them, backstep on an attack, hit them again, run, bait an attack using backstep, hit them, repeat. unless the ranger is unusually slow and you are able to get in their face, you basically cant melee them.
Do you want to buy a fulgo with weapow damege 52 1.7 action speed 1.1 maximum life bonus 2 additional weapon damage 3 physical power + 3.4 debuuf duration bonus
@Sparkykawa ok, I see you playing warrior I thought I was your type but ok if there is someone who can buy it I'm looking to sell it, it could even be for real money
poor lizard was so disappointed in the skull key loot. common dark and darker do better. increased loot drops my ass. although he did get a bunch of legendary JUNK
Backstep is not OP and it is balanced. The constant whinging about different classes counter abilities is so tiresome. Aside from Phantomize ofc. Everyone knows that skill should be rechargable at campfire, not continuous use.
its just dnd mentality , always complain about something ..dude took 7 hits and complained how other dude can move a bit and he cant just chase him with sprint and weapon out .. still got him in the end with just what , 2 hits
@lukalalosevic200 the amount of effort to get the 2 hits is so much greater than the 7 though. the ranger controls the space and has to make a mistake to lose. Spear is the longest weapon and backstep has very low cooldown. Ranger has great time to kill with gear on. Backstep can be tuned down a bit.
@@mmkaykats so can sprint , you aint suppose to run 330 with weapon out ever ! Same goes for barb and every single class out there ... and he killed him in 2 fighter stayed alive after 7 wihtout using 2nd wind ... so no shit aint balanced and its not suppose to be

@@spleey brother, im a ranger main, back step needs a nerf. You shouldn’t be able to get away from a sprinting fighter that has hit you once with a single backstep. How good it is is honestly fine, it’s more so the cooldown and they will nerf it soon guarenteed.

That or make doors instantly open if just closed within a second or two. Then make it stay stuck open for a bit so it can't be closed again.
Or just make all door interactions take over 5 second, its all just cheesy play anyway
congrats!

Is just dnd mentality, every class or skill is considered op at the moment if it makes them harder to defeat

I was expecting more than a single "big yoink" xD
They should add bolas as a throwable weapon in this game to slow people down and punish for running, make running away a skilled mechanic.
sdf the lead dev says he wants bola on barbs
@@Jimmy0649 oh God I was gonna say nerf fighter sprint and give them bolas, because you shouldn't be sprinting like a gazelle in full plate armor imo
