This could definitely still be plausible if our Pearl is the second pearl. Seeing as Pearls are supposed to match their Diamonds personality maybe PD's first pearl was too childish and didn't perform well as a pearl, this pearl probably had the same naval gem placement as PD and wore only pink clothes to match. But when it was apparent putting two childish gems together (PD and her original pearl) got mothing done, the other three diamonds custom made a SENSIBLE pearl (our pearl) to replace the original. And because the other three contibuted, she also the colours of blue and yellow too as well as the same gem placement as WD as a reference to that

I knew from Stevens flashback on jungle moon. "I want my own ARMY. I want my own PLANET." CAUSE that was what rose wanted too. She wanted an army to fight off the diamonds never really saying PINK diamond so she could take the planet. It's why she was able to be there without being shattered before. If they were separate people and rose started a rebellion and hid on pinks planet. She wouldve been caught and shattered long ago. So I guessed this was coming long before you guys gave in thinking it would be a good idea. also when the three diamonds attacked after pinks "shattering" it was stated early in the show after knowledge of the diamonds strength that no one could beat a diamond in combat other than a large army or ANOTHER Diamond!!!! That's why in the memory of Garner from mother and me ROSES SHEILD PROTECTED ALL OF OUR CRYSTAL GEMS FROM THE BLOW! did no one else think of this?
I think you have this wrong guys, it's OUR Pearl who is the original pink Pearl which is later replaced with the custom, "sensible" Pearl. Not only would the term "sensible" likely be based on Homeworld's point of view (i.e. Pearl's knowing their place & not wanting to be more) making our increasingly self-aware Pearl seem odd/unstable to Homeworld... but it would also point towards Pearl's defection to the Crystal Gem. Her place in society crumbling because of her quirks & a replacement... Rose would be saving her.
Maybe the OG Pink Pearl joined the rebellion, so PD got a new one to replace her. That's why they say "sensible." Because to Gems who still fall for the Homeworld mentality, a Pearl defying the orders of her master is completely nonsensical.

I've always been a firm believer of our Pearl originally belonging to white diamond, but instead of being stolen from white I have a new theory. What if Pearl was ASSIGNED to Pink by White? Think about it, in Jungle Moon we saw that Pink had nothing to her name for the longest time (& for good reason because she clearly wasn't ready for the responsibility). So White decides "you clearly don't know what you're doing. But I guess you need to start somewhere. Here, take this Pearl with you. She'll keep you organized. Dont worry I'll just make myself a new one." It makes sense that they wouldn't want her to start this new colony alone but they also wouldn't want to waste "real resources" (I.e. Yellow & Blue) trying to keep her on track. Therefore they send the next best/expendable thing, the gem that would know the most about the colonization process aside from the Diamonds themselves. Also, White could use this as a way to keep up with Pink's progress without bothering to travel across the galaxy.
Or maybe our pearl is White Pearl and then sooner White Diamond send "Our Pearl" to Pink Diamond as Pink Pearl... Because something happen to The Original Pink Pearl
Would it be possible for our Pearl to have been Pink Diamonds 1st Pearl but then be replaced because she got too distracted with the creation of the Rose Quartz gems? Or maybe Pearl secretly fused with Rose occasionally and they were eventually caught and sentenced to be shattered, but they ran away to Earth to start a new life together and to meet new gems to overrun the Diamond's and win the war 'they' started? Then after our Pearl ran off, she got replaced. When Pink Diamond returned to Earth to fight the Crystal Gems, it would make sense that our Pearl shattered her. Pearl seems really overprotective (bird mom). Maybe Pink Diamond was trying to shatter Rose but Pearl wasn't about to let that happen. Instead, Pearl shattered Pink Diamond *(using her unique fighting capabilities she learned on Earth to defend Rose against the war)* before Pink could shatter Rose. Why would our Pearl's original outfit be yellow, blue, and pink, with a gem placement on the forehead if she was directed to pink? That's just the thing, she wasn't. She was meant for White Diamond, but ever since White gave up her form to become Homeworld, Pearl didn't have an owner. *(Which also proves why Pearl doesn't like to be owned. She was struggling with the thought of having her first owner be the most powerful Diamond and then having her owner be the weakest Diamond and she was sick of being just a tool for them to use.)* The Diamonds were having a tough time trying to figure out who should get the BEST Pearl, but right around when White Diamond became Homeworld, *(I know that's a stretch and I don't know how that could happen, but I never see any predictions about that happening and it doesn't seem entirely unlikely, somehow)* Pink wanted to prove that she is somehow just as important as all the other Diamonds were, so she was given the ultimate test. I LOVE this idea. What if this happened before the rebellion and our Pearl was sent to Pink to prepare her for running a colony. The previous pink pearl couldn't handle the task of training her because she tended to goof off like you said in the video, so our Pearl was custom made to mentor Pink. (I think the idea of Pearl being Pink's mentor has been thrown around before. But I can't remember where I saw it) But just imagine Pearl describing something to Pink the way she tried to teach Steven how to summon his weapon, and Pink just being totally confused. It would be priceless
I honestly believe that Pearl was given to Pink Diamond from White Diamond but because Pearl went against Homeworld with Rose, Pink had to get another personal pearl who i believe is the pearl component of Rhodonite. Even though she belonged to a Morgonite that doesn't mean she belonged to Pink before her shattering. And because Morganite is supposedly a high rank gem she could have been reassigned to her. And once the off colors get to earth. Rhodonite will recognize Pearl and possibly accuse her of shattering Pink
Xavier Gray rhodo's pearl placement is on her chest tho , and if theres a fashion with the pearls placement matching the diamond's , a custom made pearl would have her placement match that of pink's.
I bet the original pink pearl is one of the off colors fused with that ruby. It would make sense because if she was defective and ( not sensible enough), then she would fuse with a ruby
You have amazing vids! but may I suggest adding a little slight white outline around your character ? Would help to make it pop from the background a little more and will cover the slight flecks around the lineart.
Coming back to this after the big PD reveal, I can't help but wonder if PD's original pearl, if there was more than one, that is, is bubbled in that chest in Lion's mane. Something has to be in that chest and we're kind of running out of things to suggest at this point. I have no clue what could be in there, especially after "A Single Pale Rose," so a bubbled Pink Pearl is all I've got at the moment lol

I think our Pearl was Pink's first pearl because she may have been described as insensible for joining the rebellion and Rose aka Pink Diamond didn't want that Pearl so she bubbled the second Pearl away somewhere.
Although this could be a plausible theory, I personally believe it to be along the lines of "a new, sensible plan was custom made and given to pink," as in the plan for the Earth colony. Peridot herself remark how well thought out the plan was and seeing pinks Personality and thought process during "Jungle moon," it would kinda make sense

What if rose is a fusion but not like garnet, more like cross pollination(a synthetic gem), engineered by pink diamond. This could explain why she has so many powers and the unique healing ability no other gems seem to have.
our Pearl seems to be for all diamonds in the show. she has the colors of blue (closer to green really but let´s count that as blue), yellow, pink and white. I didn´t think of it before, but when there´s more yellow to this drawing, it would make sense if she was somehow a Pearl who might be one of those who was closest to the diamonds. it would explain all her colors compared to the primary colors other pearls have.
This all makes sense the original pearl of pink was to goofy and just like pink diamond as they both don’t take things serious . That were we see in the episode Together Alone. So white diamond may not had a pearl at all or she reformed her pearl to be senseable for pink and white diamond might had mentally broke pinks pearl to the perfect pearl aka herself by taking her color

I personally feel that it might have been a pearl, but not our pearl. I looked into white diamonds a little more, and I found something we all knew, clear or white diamonds reflect multiple colors, but after going in myself and dissecting the color palate of a picture of a white diamond, the basic colors of our pearl: white, peach pink, dark and light blues, shades of yellow, light purples, and teal, all being faded like pearls colors, has me very convinced, that if she wasn't white diamonds, than she belongs to someone on her court, and still being of high ranking, explaining her over the top look.
SPOILER ALERTTTTTT: We now know that the reason Pink Diamond's Pearl wasn't there to warn Pink was because our Pearl IS Pink Pearl and since she pretended to be Rose, she wasn't there to say, "WATCH OUT MY DIAMONDDD"
I like the "gem placement affects personality" theory, but there's another thing that gem placement affects, which we all know; The location of the gem on a fusion. I'm not sure we've ever seen two gems fuse who had the same gem location. I don't know if it would even be possible. If it's not possible, that could explain why gems who need to work together would have the same gem location; to prevent them from being distracted by possible fusion. On the other hand, Fluorite seems to have a gem that shifts shape between Triangle-cut, Pentagon-cut, and Circle-cut depending on the scene, which could mean that there are MORE than six gems in her fusion, and 2 or more of them have that central gem location. Of course, it's all speculation at this point. Can't wait until April! :)
Just going to put it out there- I think pink diamond punching her reflection in the mirror was the most straight forward indicator that pink diamond is rose quartz. I feel that the depiction of pink shattering herself in the mirror was symbolic hint of what will ultimately occur.
Speaking of pink pearl popping up in the series, maybe she could have been bubbled along with the rose quartz gems and hidden in between them as she would of had a similar pink hue
Sins rose is pink diamond the reason why is because she did not want to harm earth so she made a rose to make a rebellion to protect the earth. But it did not go her way there was a big gem war and half the earth was damaged. Nice job rose diamond nice job👌
It's a little harder to tell with Yellow and Blue Pearls since YD and BD have such similar gem placements, but their Pearls actually have the _opposite_ gem placement; that is to say, BP has the same placement as YD and YP has the same placement as BD. This was puzzling at first, but I believe it's meant to be that way; to mirror the opposite diamond (since YD and BD are the "arms", if you will). With our Pearl being revealed as Pink Pearl, it makes even more sense that her gem is on her forehead; if the above is true, then WD's Pearl would have a naval gem rather than a forehead gem because she and PD are opposites to each other.
I need to buy this book. If something was sensibly, custom made for Pink, maybe it's armor or Moon Base or something..? Because she is tiny compared to other Diamonds. Something to make Pink large or have something that fits her tinyness
My theory is that everyone has their own individual pearl to serve them but then there is our pearl who serves every diamond ( hence her outfit and gem placement ) as a secondary and I guess most “perfect” pearl

New pearl timeline- • Millions of years ago, (possibly eons, idk) our Pearl was made for White • around a million years ago (more or less) Pink was made • less than a million years ago, the pearl we know as White Pearl(Pinj pearl for now) is made for Pink Diamond •10,000 or so years ago, pink pearl disobeyed or made an unwise or non "sensible" decision • 8 or 9,000 years ago, white takes Pink Pearl and replaces her with our Pearl • 8 or 9,000 years ago, White Mind controls, and breaks, Pink pearl, making her talk in Whites voice, and float, probably for acting non sensibly. • 6,000 years ago, Pink gets a colony, Earth. •5,900, or so, years ago, Pink sees earth's beauty and revels as Rose. • 5,800 Rose and Pearl see Garnet, and change causes for Earth, and Garnet. •5,000 years ago, Gem War •5,000 yaers ago, Corruption attacc •around 20 years ago, Rose Meets Greg and falls for him • 15 years ago, steven is born •a few years ago, stevens gem glows, And the show picks up there!
I believe our pearl was shared between all the Diamonds or was white diamonds backup pearl. Maybe she spent more time with pink pearl because the first time Steven saw yellow pearl our pearl said not all pearls know each other. So maybe pearl has met yellow pearl but didn’t like yellow pearl so she pretended to not know her or she really didn’t meet yellow. Our pearl probably spent more time with blue, and pink or just white diamond.So many possibilities, can’t wait to see what happens.:)
You know, this actually seems MORE plausible after the recent Stevenbombs imo- Pink Pearl may have been good as a decorative pearl but not as one who could assist with running a colony, prompting the creation and assignment of "our" more sensible Pearl.
I like to think our pearl was like a temporary replacement pearl, if any of the diamonds pearl's got shattered or if they decivded them she would be there for replacement, and pink of course could have shattered her original pearl and our pearl wad there to serve pink for the meantime before rebelling, which is why I think our pearl has all the colors of the diamond and serves them temporarily till a new pearl is made within homeworld to match the diamond.
My theory is that White Diamond disowned Pearl bc her gem is not like other pearls so she gives Pink Diamond her pearl since PD is off color as well. Pearl and PD have a good relationship meanwhile Pearl meets Rose Quartz through PD’s court. If you look at the Diamonds’ pearls they share a common theme of their shawls: Yellow Pearl has shawls over her shoulders, Blue Pearl has a long shawl worn like a dress and our Pearl used to wear her shawl over her hips like shirt and I predict that Pink Pearl had shawls over her shoulders like a cape or long sleeves. Also Pearl had white hair before the Gem War but after that Pearl’s hair turned into a peach color. It’s difficult for colored gems to turn into different or have different color clothes but Pearl has worn any colors pink, blue, white, yellow, and etc.
what if our peal was like a comunity peal for all the diamonds her outfit (in 7:00) has all the colors of the dimonds, yellow top, blue sleeves and shoes, pink skirt and a white collar(gem too if you want to count it to). but to top it of, since white diamond is theorized to be the top leader of the diamonds this could explain why peals gem placement is at the forehead. it could be possible that every diamond has a privat peal and a shared one.

To be honest, the first time I saw the new pearl design, I thought she was a spare pearl. For example, in a war, the pearl of a diamond gets shattered, she would be replaced by a " spare pearl".
As Pearl was renegade and possibly defective, she wasn’t considered sensible. Our Pearl was PD’s original pearl and she had to ge replaced with a sensible one, like the rose quartzes, after rebelling. Otherwise PD would have to have 3 pearls (navel one, our one and the replacement at the time of the flashback).
Just think about it tho. When Yellow Diamond introduced the code, White came first, and then last. Which COULD Mean that after Pink Diamond was born, she had to give up her form and reborn as Homeworld, Like a Rose-Steven reference. White Diamond gave up her form way before the Jungle Moon episode, We don't have much to have strong arguments on the reasons for her to do that, but the user that got to hang out with the staff told us exactly what the episode had and the huge white figure not being a statue or ship, but being White herself. Maybe she gave up her form to give birth to Pink, Save Homeworld, Her form was somehow damaged and had to be fixed, She somehow died and they took her gem and fused it with homeworld so she could be alive forever or just because she wanted to willingly to take control over everything. This opens up many questions. Where was she when they corrupted Earth? Maybe she was informed about everything and reformed, then with the other diamonds, corrupted the gems on Earth, Maybe she's a legend and an important gem and only reforms for something special, Or maybe she couldn't reform for some reason and the whole Homeworld planet traveled through the galaxy to Earth just so it could be corrupted or the white diamond figure separated from homeworld and traveled to Earth herself as the huge form. Both are very unlikely theories since she remains inmobile and even tho she could move for important things only, she would need some sort of push and articulations, so far we have only seen her head, torso and neck from far away, we can't make sure that she has any arms. Some of you may think that it would make sense that Yellow and Blue's arm shaped ships would fuse with White, but just think about it. They're really small compared to White Diamond and we never got a closer look to her, She looks really big from far away and the arm ships only looked that big because of how close they are to the camera. If you were to compare sizes, you can asure that White Diamond looks smaller than the ships because of how far it is from the camera and the ship looks bigger cause of how close we got to look at it. She looks like she's really far away so we should expect her to be huge... like, REALLY Huge. Anyway, of course I might be wrong since the crewniverse never think that size matters that much so the ships might get bigger and become White's limbs, which could explain how she got to corrupt Earth with the Diamonds. However, I don't think so, because the corruption light had the blue, yellow and white colors combined. Idk how to explain it, but I feel like she reformed to do it (Even tho we would need an explanation on why White would reform for such a meaningless war? Well, it wasn't meaningless considering how the rebels possibly shattered Pink Diamond and Homeworld's Army couldn't fight back. Maybe she was the caringdiamond that wanted to get revenge because of Pink's shattering or just to get rid of the gems that are against her colony.). Now that I can recall, Lapis and Pearl always had something for homeworld, something that binds them to it which means that it somehow changed after Pink's shattering. Pearl was seriously missing it on the episode space race and wanted to get there even tho they could have known that she was a rebel (maybe they didn't have a register system back on that era so every gem was pretty much unknown and an ID wasn't required, however, Zircon pretty much had all of the information about Rose and possibly her ID so this could be wrong, or maybe the kindergarteners checked every hole and assumed the gem and how she looked depending on the deposits of materials, like peridot did in back to the kindergarten, and updated themselves, even tho it would be a huge job because of how many gems were created). Lapis explained to us how she always missed homeworld but then instantly regret going back because of how much it changed and got "advanced". This means that something must have happened after Pink's shattering that they had to drastically change Homeworld, maybe after White gave up her form to Homeworld once again, she had a feeling of sadness, regret of not having a way to help Pink that couldn't let her move on, which also changed the planet or madness, or nothing at all! because these are just theories and there's nothing to asure that White reformed and then gave up her form once again, because the reason of her giving up her form is still unknown, and maybe she didn't even give up her form at all! Of course, We already know the answer to Lapis and Pearl's case and that's called Nostalgia. Peridot explained that it's hard not to feel something for the place you came from... All of us would want to get home if they had to defend another place for someone but that someone is gone and struggles to move on, or were caught in the middle of a war and got trapped on an unknown planet for thousands of years, or because you got stuck on somewhere you weren't supposed to be. Nostalgia is something hard to deal with but that helps you move on... That's why Pearl admits on 'Gemcation' that she has always wanted Steven to see the place where she was made and that she considers her home... God, the feelings :,( This show is so deep and emotional that it's story makes me actually feel it, something that most of the shows can't make happen. Thanks for reading my... What a perfect plot. Rebecca Sugar wrote a song for Adventure Time that I would like to dedicate to Lapis and Pearl. "Everything Stays, right where you left it, Everything Stays, but it still changes..." It explains very well their nostalgic situation :,( I'm also feeling nostalgic about many things in my life, but the show has taught me to get over them, Like in Space Race, when the "Almost There" OST Plays, it makes you feel even more nostalgic but then Steven makes Pearl realize how sometimes you have to let go of your past... :,( just like when Peridot wanted to fix 'where the life not begins, but ends' the kindergarten and couldn't, but later realizes that she could make anything else better instead of trying to save something that's already dead... It's just, sometimes you have to let go of the past because It's the past... And it's hard to move on with the feeling of not being able to fix something or go back to the place where you were made, but that doesn't mean that you don't have a place where you belong or something else to fix and make even better. I think that we have to look back at pinks place among the diamonds. They clearly didn't trust her enough to give her her own army or planet, so why wouldn't they start small? Maybe our Pearl was given to her by white diamond as a sort of "training pearl" to test her. Sort of like with a small child, as that was clearly how she was seen. Also, this would explain the outfit if she was a hand me down or a sort of tester pearl for new diamonds.

This could definitely still be plausible if our Pearl is the second pearl. Seeing as Pearls are supposed to match their Diamonds personality maybe PD's first pearl was too childish and didn't perform well as a pearl, this pearl probably had the same naval gem placement as PD and wore only pink clothes to match. But when it was apparent putting two childish gems together (PD and her original pearl) got mothing done, the other three diamonds custom made a SENSIBLE pearl (our pearl) to replace the original.

I think you have this wrong guys, it's OUR Pearl who is the original pink Pearl which is later replaced with the custom, "sensible" Pearl. Not only would the term "sensible" likely be based on Homeworld's point of view (i.e. Pearl's knowing their place & not wanting to be more) making our increasingly self-aware Pearl seem odd/unstable to Homeworld... but it would also point towards Pearl's defection to the Crystal Gem. Her place in society crumbling because of her quirks & a replacement... Rose would be saving her.

I've always been a firm believer of our Pearl originally belonging to white diamond, but instead of being stolen from white I have a new theory.
What if Pearl was ASSIGNED to Pink by White? Think about it, in Jungle Moon we saw that Pink had nothing to her name for the longest time (& for good reason because she clearly wasn't ready for the responsibility). So White decides "you clearly don't know what you're doing. But I guess you need to start somewhere. Here, take this Pearl with you. She'll keep you organized. Dont worry I'll just make myself a new one." It makes sense that they wouldn't want her to start this new colony alone but they also wouldn't want to waste "real resources" (I.e. Yellow & Blue) trying to keep her on track. Therefore they send the next best/expendable thing, the gem that would know the most about the colonization process aside from the Diamonds themselves. Also, White could use this as a way to keep up with Pink's progress without bothering to travel across the galaxy.

Would it be possible for our Pearl to have been Pink Diamonds 1st Pearl but then be replaced because she got too distracted with the creation of the Rose Quartz gems? Or maybe Pearl secretly fused with Rose occasionally and they were eventually caught and sentenced to be shattered, but they ran away to Earth to start a new life together and to meet new gems to overrun the Diamond's and win the war 'they' started? Then after our Pearl ran off, she got replaced.
When Pink Diamond returned to Earth to fight the Crystal Gems, it would make sense that our Pearl shattered her. Pearl seems really overprotective (bird mom). Maybe Pink Diamond was trying to shatter Rose but Pearl wasn't about to let that happen. Instead, Pearl shattered Pink Diamond *(using her unique fighting capabilities she learned on Earth to defend Rose against the war)* before Pink could shatter Rose.
Why would our Pearl's original outfit be yellow, blue, and pink, with a gem placement on the forehead if she was directed to pink? That's just the thing, she wasn't. She was meant for White Diamond, but ever since White gave up her form to become Homeworld, Pearl didn't have an owner. *(Which also proves why Pearl doesn't like to be owned. She was struggling with the thought of having her first owner be the most powerful Diamond and then having her owner be the weakest Diamond and she was sick of being just a tool for them to use.)* The Diamonds were having a tough time trying to figure out who should get the BEST Pearl, but right around when White Diamond became Homeworld, *(I know that's a stretch and I don't know how that could happen, but I never see any predictions about that happening and it doesn't seem entirely unlikely, somehow)* Pink wanted to prove that she is somehow just as important as all the other Diamonds were, so she was given the ultimate test. To rule over the best Pearl, and to create her own colony on her own planet.

What if this happened before the rebellion and our Pearl was sent to Pink to prepare her for running a colony. The previous pink pearl couldn't handle the task of training her because she tended to goof off like you said in the video, so our Pearl was custom made to mentor Pink.
(I think the idea of Pearl being Pink's mentor has been thrown around before. But I can't remember where I saw it)

What if rose is a fusion but not like garnet, more like cross pollination(a synthetic gem), engineered by pink diamond. This could explain why she has so many powers and the unique healing ability no other gems seem to have.

our Pearl seems to be for all diamonds in the show. she has the colors of blue (closer to green really but let´s count that as blue), yellow, pink and white. I didn´t think of it before, but when there´s more yellow to this drawing, it would make sense if she was somehow a Pearl who might be one of those who was closest to the diamonds. it would explain all her colors compared to the primary colors other pearls have.
This all makes sense the original pearl of pink was to goofy and just like pink diamond as they both don’t take things serious . That were we see in the episode Together Alone. I personally feel that it might have been a pearl, but not our pearl. I looked into white diamonds a little more, and I found something we all knew, clear or white diamonds reflect multiple colors, but after going in myself and dissecting the color palate of a picture of a white diamond, the basic colors of our pearl: white, peach pink, dark and light blues, shades of yellow, light purples, and teal, all being faded like pearls colors, has me very convinced, that if she wasn't white diamonds, than she belongs to someone on her court, and still being of high ranking, explaining her over the top look.
SPOILER ALERTTTTTT: We now know that the reason Pink Diamond's Pearl wasn't there to warn Pink was because our Pearl IS Pink Pearl and since she pretended to be Rose, she wasn't there to say, "WATCH OUT MY DIAMONDDD"

I like the "gem placement affects personality" theory, but there's another thing that gem placement affects, which we all know; The location of the gem on a fusion. I'm not sure we've ever seen two gems fuse who had the same gem location. I don't know if it would even be possible. If it's not possible, that could explain why gems who need to work together would have the same gem location; to prevent them from being distracted by possible fusion. On the other hand, Fluorite seems to have a gem that shifts shape between Triangle-cut, Pentagon-cut, and Circle-cut depending on the scene, which could mean that there are MORE than six gems in her fusion, and 2 or more of them have that central gem location. Of course, it's all speculation at this point. Can't wait until April! :)

Just going to put it out there- I think pink diamond punching her reflection in the mirror was the most straight forward indicator that pink diamond is rose quartz. I feel that the depiction of pink shattering herself in the mirror was symbolic hint of what will ultimately occur.
Speaking of pink pearl popping up in the series, maybe she could have been bubbled along with the rose quartz gems and hidden in between them as she would of had a similar pink hue

It's a little harder to tell with Yellow and Blue Pearls since YD and BD have such similar gem placements, but their Pearls actually have the _opposite_ gem placement; that is to say, BP has the same placement as YD and YP has the same placement as BD.
This was puzzling at first, but I believe it's meant to be that way; to mirror the opposite diamond (since YD and BD are the "arms", if you will).
With our Pearl being revealed as Pink Pearl, it makes even more sense that her gem is on her forehead; if the above is true, then WD's Pearl would have a naval gem rather than a forehead gem because she and PD are opposites to each other.
I need to buy this book. If something was sensibly, custom made for Pink, maybe it's armor or Moon Base or something..? Because she is tiny compared to other Diamonds. Something to make Pink large or have something that fits her tinyness

•10,000 or so years ago, pink pearl disobeyed or made an unwise or non "sensible" decision
• 8 or 9,000 years ago, white takes Pink Pearl and replaces her with our Pearl
• 8 or 9,000 years ago, White Mind controls, and breaks, Pink pearl, making her talk in Whites voice, and float, probably for acting non sensibly.
• 6,000 years ago, Pink gets a colony, Earth.
•5,900, or so, years ago, Pink sees earth's beauty and revels as Rose.
• 5,800 Rose and Pearl see Garnet, and change causes for Earth, and Garnet.
•5,000 years ago, Gem War
•5,000 yaers ago, Corruption attacc
•around 20 years ago, Rose Meets Greg and falls for him
• 15 years ago, steven is born

I believe our pearl was shared between all the Diamonds or was white diamonds backup pearl. Maybe she spent more time with pink pearl because the first time Steven saw yellow pearl our pearl said not all pearls know each other. So maybe pearl has met yellow pearl but didn’t like yellow pearl so she pretended to not know her or she really didn’t meet yellow. Our pearl probably spent more time with blue, and pink or just white diamond.So many possibilities, can’t wait to see what happens.:)

I like to think our pearl was like a temporary replacement pearl, if any of the diamonds pearl's got shattered or if they decivded them she would be there for replacement, and pink of course could have shattered her original pearl and our pearl wad there to serve pink for the meantime before rebelling, which is why I think our pearl has all the colors of the diamond and serves them temporarily till a new pearl is made within homeworld to match the diamond.
My theory is that White Diamond disowned Pearl bc her gem is not like other pearls so she gives Pink Diamond her pearl since PD is off color as well. Pearl and PD have a good relationship meanwhile Pearl meets Rose Quartz through PD’s court. If you look at the Diamonds’ pearls they share a common theme of their shawls: Yellow Pearl has shawls over her shoulders, Blue Pearl has a long shawl worn like a dress and our Pearl used to wear her shawl over her hips like shirt and I predict that Pink Pearl had shawls over her shoulders like a cape or long sleeves. Also Pearl had white hair before the Gem War but after that Pearl’s hair turned into a peach color. It’s difficult for colored gems to turn into different or have different color clothes but Pearl has worn any colors pink, blue, white, yellow, and etc.
what if our peal was like a comunity peal for all the diamonds
her outfit (in 7:00) has all the colors of the dimonds, yellow top, blue sleeves and shoes, pink skirt and a white collar(gem too if you want to count it to). but to top it of, since white diamond is theorized to be the top leader of the diamonds this could explain why peals gem placement is at the forehead. it could be possible that every diamond has a privat peal and a shared one.
Our pearl was probably a gift from THE DIAMONDS to pink that's why her color scheme is yellow,white, pink,and blue

To be honest, the first time I saw the new pearl design, I thought she was a spare pearl. For example, in a war, the pearl of a diamond gets shattered, she would be replaced by a " spare pearl".

As Pearl was renegade and possibly defective, she wasn’t considered sensible. Our Pearl was PD’s original pearl and she had to ge replaced with a sensible one, like the rose quartzes, after rebelling. Otherwise PD would have to have 3 pearls (navel one, our one and the replacement at the time of the flashback).
Just think about it tho. When Yellow Diamond introduced the code, White came first, and then last. Which COULD Mean that after Pink Diamond was born, she had to give up her form and reborn as Homeworld, Like a Rose-Steven reference. White Diamond gave up her form way before the Jungle Moon episode, We don't have much to have strong arguments on the reasons for her to do that, but the user that got to hang out with the staff told us exactly what the episode had and the huge white figure not being a statue or ship, but being White herself. Maybe she gave up her form to give birth to Pink, Save Homeworld, Her form was somehow damaged and had to be fixed, She somehow died and they took her gem and fused it with homeworld so she could be alive forever or just because she wanted to willingly to take control over everything. This opens up many questions.
Where was she when they corrupted Earth? Maybe she was informed about everything and reformed, then with the other diamonds, corrupted the gems on Earth, Maybe she's a legend and an important gem and only reforms for something special, Or maybe she couldn't reform for some reason and the whole Homeworld planet traveled through the galaxy to Earth just so it could be corrupted or the white diamond figure separated from homeworld and traveled to Earth herself as the huge form. Both are very unlikely theories since she remains inmobile and even tho she could move for important things only, she would need some sort of push and articulations, so far we have only seen her head, torso and neck from far away, we can't make sure that she has any arms. Some of you may think that it would make sense that Yellow and Blue's arm shaped ships would fuse with White, but just think about it. They're really small compared to White Diamond and we never got a closer look to her, She looks really big from far away and the arm ships only looked that big because of how close they are to the camera. If you were to compare sizes, you can asure that White Diamond looks smaller than the ships because of how far it is from the camera and the ship looks bigger cause of how close we got to look at it. She looks like she's really far away so we should expect her to be huge... like, REALLY Huge. Anyway, of course I might be wrong since the crewniverse never think that size matters that much so the ships might get bigger and become White's limbs, which could explain how she got to corrupt Earth with the Diamonds. However, I don't think so, because the corruption light had the blue, yellow and white colors combined. Idk how to explain it, but I feel like she reformed to do it (Even tho we would need an explanation on why White would reform for such a meaningless war? Well, it wasn't meaningless considering how the rebels possibly shattered Pink Diamond and Homeworld's Army couldn't fight back. Maybe she was the caringdiamond that wanted to get revenge because of Pink's shattering or just to get rid of the gems that are against her colony.). Now that I can recall, Lapis and Pearl always had something for homeworld, something that binds them to it which means that it somehow changed after Pink's shattering. Pearl was seriously missing it on the episode space race and wanted to get there even tho they could have known that she was a rebel (maybe they didn't have a register system back on that era so every gem was pretty much unknown and an ID wasn't required, however, Zircon pretty much had all of the information about Rose and possibly her ID so this could be wrong, or maybe the kindergarteners checked every hole and assumed the gem and how she looked depending on the deposits of materials, like peridot did in back to the kindergarten, and updated themselves, even tho it would be a huge job because of how many gems were created). Lapis explained to us how she always missed homeworld but then instantly regret going back because of how much it changed and got "advanced". This means that something must have happened after Pink's shattering that they had to drastically change Homeworld, maybe after White gave up her form to Homeworld once again, she had a feeling of sadness, regret of not having a way to help Pink that couldn't let her move on, which also changed the planet or madness, or nothing at all! because these are just theories and there's nothing to asure that White reformed and then gave up her form once again, because the reason of her giving up her form is still unknown, and maybe she didn't even give up her form at all!
Of course, We already know the answer to Lapis and Pearl's case and that's called Nostalgia. Peridot explained that it's hard not to feel something for the place you came from... All of us would want to get home if they had to defend another place for someone but that someone is gone and struggles to move on, or were caught in the middle of a war and got trapped on an unknown planet for thousands of years, or because you got stuck on somewhere you weren't supposed to be. Nostalgia is something hard to deal with but that helps you move on... That's why Pearl admits on 'Gemcation' that she has always wanted Steven to see the place where she was made and that she considers her home... God, the feelings :,( This show is so deep and emotional that it's story makes me actually feel it, something that most of the shows can't make happen.
Thanks for reading my... I don't know how to call it. I was supposed to write something small about how white diamond giving up her form for homeworld would make sense and then everything else came out naturally. What a perfect plot.
Rebecca Sugar wrote a song for Adventure Time that I would like to dedicate to Lapis and Pearl. "Everything Stays, right where you left it, Everything Stays, but it still changes..."
It explains very well their nostalgic situation :,( I'm also feeling nostalgic about many things in my life, but the show has taught me to get over them, Like in Space Race, when the "Almost There" OST Plays, it makes you feel even more nostalgic but then Steven makes Pearl realize how sometimes you have to let go of your past... :,( just like when Peridot wanted to fix 'where the life not begins, but ends' the kindergarten and couldn't, but later realizes that she could make anything else better instead of trying to save something that's already dead... It's just, sometimes you have to let go of the past because It's the past... And it's hard to move on with the feeling of not being able to fix something or go back to the place where you were made, but that doesn't mean that you don't have a place where you belong or something else to fix and make even better.
Steven Universe is just... Wow. And I'd like to end my comment wiping off my tears :,) Good Luck in your life, We all may not know each other in real life but the place where we belong is that binds us. And maybe we'll forget that we even exist since this is just a comment of an user, but I hope for you to have the best of the best and learning to let go when neccessary :,)
I think that we have to look back at pinks place among the diamonds. They clearly didn't trust her enough to give her her own army or planet, so why wouldn't they start small? Maybe our Pearl was given to her by white diamond as a sort of "training pearl" to test her. Then, after the rebellion started and pearl left, a new, sensible (as in, befitting a diamond i.e. matching and specifically made to serve a diamond) pearl is delivered to pink, one that they were sure wouldn't rebel. Sort of like with a small child, as that was clearly how she was seen. Also, this would explain the outfit if she was a hand me down or a sort of tester pearl for new diamonds.
