Great catches awesome chase and excellent video of 2102
An epic pull from a standing start at JT. You can feel it straining against the load....steam and thunder at its best. Excellent video.
Mighty fine locomotive she is. That 6 chime is a beautiful-sounding whistle
It almost sounds like the one off of 425
@@djtrainman2 425 also wears a reading 6 most of the time
That 6 chime whistle is perfect for 2102
I still get a tear in my eye when I hear an old train in the night
Great locations and camera angles. This engine just loves running through the rain.
Thank you
It performed flawlessly on this day.
We were on this trip in the 5th car luv that whistle had a fantastic time thanks for posting this
Great video. The run by and Jim Thorpe and departing even had my wife and I in it standing trackside. It was a great day of railroading. We go on July 2.
the observation car was the former "Mardi Gras" car from the Roanoke Chapter NRHS once was on passenger trains on the Norfolk & Western
I thought it looked familiar. Probably ran behind 611 many times.
Great video, Great train, Great Railroad... 2102 is awesome!
And that my friends is the sound of steam!
About that shot in Lake Hauto, I am in your shot with my family. We are the family of three with the grey minivan at 7:23
great video
now that whistles more like it
This whistle is so much better than the one from the tests imo
That engine is so powerful
Amazing restoration on it! No steam leaks. Performing perfectly.
Was the whole consist wyed at Jim Thorpe?
Yes
Imagine this and 2100 double heading. I think we'll get to see that eventually.
#2101 will be restored before #2100
It’s alive again
19 passenger cars is nothing for an engine that just hauled 100 loaded coal hoppers with ease!
They put the reading 6 chime back on
How many times did you comment bridgeman?
