These new light spread conversations made me reconsider my lighting plan and order an old school ATI SunPower 60” T5 fixture. Unfortunately BRS doesn’t have them anymore so I had to order elsewhere. The electricity usage seemed comparable to LED, coverage seemed better and price was MUCH cheaper. Just something for everyone to consider!

Matthew, totally off the back of this could you do a spot light on 2 radion xr15 blue/pro, 2 of the smaller lights that give better par and spread as to 3ft tanks! The way things are atm people are down sizing due to costs so I think it could really help a lot of people!
TV’s use VESA mounting. If aquarium lighting had this standard where there are 2,3,4,5, or 6 options for mounting hole spacing, it would be easier for the end user and would (hopefully) open up competition for 3rd party mounting options.
Why aren’t vesa mounts (from screen monitors) adopted. Then you’ve opened access to a massive mounting market

Reef breeders comes with tank mount legs and ceiling mount kit for FREE, very easy and cost effective. But I guess they’re not AI BLADES 😂

BRS has always talked about decreased shadowing, even before the blades came out.
The Blades are fantastic too. God forbid BRS take a liking to a product that fits a mantra they have had long before Blades existed 😂
The shimmer of real sunlight is hard to match. The closest I've seen is T5/Halogen hybrid. I found a couple of clowns in the ocean living in a lone anemone when I was 13 and I've been chasing that ever since.
