It's almost like there's no reason to listen to anyone else, ludicrous as that sounds there is nothing else I need from a soloist. Even the instrument which in other hands is never substantial enough, in yours it's a fat buttery ambrosia that fills the soul yet it's as delicately piquant as fresh watercress throughout the range. Then there is the rhythmic element. Few players are masters of both swing and long meter Latin but you have harnessed every nuance of these two feels. To lay back on the beat while subdividing it with the precision and grace of an impala injected with the laser reflexes of a cheetah... it's just transcendent. Did I mention that I like it?

Yeah, I was almost going to buy the #6 of that glissando head joint.
But at the time, the dimensions of my flute was different and the headjoint did not fit, and I ended up not getting it.
This was was in 2010...
