    Youre a legend. Ive been using oven cleaner but the smell is a killer and i cant hold my breath that long. I have washing sode so going to try this. Great for cleaning the drain also. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺

    I'm Canadian, I was confused by soda crystals and fairy soap,
    Here we call it baking soda and dish soap like Dawn.

      Baking soda is not soda crystals link is in the description this is used for cleaning not cooking dawn yes is same as fairy liquid hope this helps

      Using same process you can clean element with a brush wire wool obviously do not put electrical plug end in water I hope you enjoy the

    Never used soda crystals before. Will try bar keepers friend as last resort, but simple green and or dish soap first for bulk.

      Hi depending on the country you live in normally if it’s small amount put in sealed container into recycling bins or general waste large amounts from business normally you would call recycling companies hope that helps

      I also thought this till she said about the soda crystals and she did have alot in there, however it's alot of work. I empty the oil out, wipe the excess with paper towel and into the dishwasher it goes, I DO NOT PUT THE ELEMENT IN THE DISHWASHER!
