Great vid, nice detail, excellent simple DIY mod that most of us could have a crack at. Thanks for taking the time to document it!

Excellent vid. Husband and I managed to install this with some help from his folks, loved the detail and photos, easy to follow.
Quote of the decade is definitely ‘I reckon black on black looks gangsta’

Great Idea Thanks. I have a 2017 NX and that should work the same. Just looking at how I secure the fridge properly. Have the middle front tiedown but only an LH tiedown at the back. Perhaps an eye bolt with a mudguard washer on the underside to make it strong enough.

    Hey mate
Enjoyed your vid and very easy to follow. Just wondering if it’s necessary to remove the carpet? If so why.
    Cheers

Great video! Out of curiosity, have you fitted bash plates to your Pajero? I hear the intercooler plate is required as a minimum?

    Great video
That's going to help me a lot with my project.
Do you remember how thick the plywood is ? I think you mentioned 9 mm in the video, but it looks really fragile in real, and it looks more like 18 mm in your video

Is the floor held down by only those two child restrain bolts?

Mate, how did you secure the cargo net frame to the car?

Mate this vid is just what I needed to get started on my NX! Sorry if this is a dumb question but I didn’t quite get why you need to cut away that section of the floor lining and carpet? Also no dramas with the 9mm ply thickness when mounting the slide and drawer (Part 3)? Be nice not to have to go too thick and heavy.

Yeah I can understand not wanting to cut the carpet, especiall y if your bus is nice and new :) You could try and not remove the carpet, but it gives great access to the bolt holes, and doesn't prop the plywood up too high. Although keeping it there does help block off the holes Mitsubishi have put in the floor (which I ended up siliconing closed due to dust ingress).

Hey mate. I am going to start this month to build this mode. I think is really awesome. For the moment I have a question. On the part of cutting the carpet you said we have to measure 1 cm from the "Back of the hole". When you say that you are referring to the side of the hole that is closer to the seats. Or to the side of the hole that is closer to the back door. Thanks

How thick is the ply you used? I think you said 9mm but surely thats not strong enough?

    • @Unfastened
      @Unfastened  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah was about 9mm from memory mate. The false floor is sitting on the metal for the most part. It bridges the gap where the seats usually fold under, just fine, even when heavily loaded. As a plus, the 9mm also doesn't weigh that much.

@Unfastened thanks mate I'll be copying your video and doing this to my pajero. Cheers
