My all-time favorite game on the NES. When I was about 6 I stared at the box art before I opened it. I just knew it was going to transport me to a tropical paradise. And it did just that. And when I first put it in my NES and pressed the power button, seeing that intro screen with the shooting star, the music, the atmosphere and the whole ambience of the game was beyond magical. It'll always be special to me.
This was my mom's favorite game back in the early 90s. And she was actually happy that I played through the game on Switch via NSO a while back, and I can confirm the game is indeed great.
Wish my mom still played video games! When I was a kid she’d play Frogger, Galaga, QBert, and she loved DK. She’d play the DKC games with me as well but that was about as recent as she made it
I'm sorry, but the way you defeated the second boss was too funny. It's even better because the protagonist turns around with the sign as if to say, "Please excuse me for a moment whilst I prepare your death warrant..." before pulling out that snowman doll(?).
