If you dunk it quickly to wash the knife or it gets rained on, then you’re good. If you want to swim with it, you’ll wreck it - there’s no rubber seal around the battery compartment
@@knifeup7566 thanks for the reply i appreciate it i do a lot of fly fishing in some not so easy to get to places and a good knife and light are a necessity doesnt sound like a good option for my belt i wade pretty deep sometimes
You're living dangerously batoning with this knife - that hollow handle is fragile compared to a full tang knife. This blade is for game processing and food prep, not woodcraft. SOG also way overpriced it; I bought it on closeout for $30, a fair price, but the original sticker was $99. Get real.
