_There was no black helmet, no wings of a bird of prey, whose sound had pursued her in her nightmares. He was no longer the Black Knight of Cintra. Instead there was a pale dark-haired young man writhing in a pool of blood, a young man with blue eyes and his mouth twisted into a grimace of terror. The Black Knight of Cintra had fallen under the blows of her sword, had ceased to exist, the wings that caused her to be afraid were no more than limp feathers. The frightened boy, bent over, vomiting blood, was nothing. She did not know him, had never seen him before. She did not care. She was not afraid of him, did not hate him. She did not want to kill him._
_She threw her sword on the ground._

I just watched this amazing piece of art and the one word that describes it the most, is that is is very POWERFUL! But all your videos are, so... no wonder. Their story seems so full of angst and they look like they have an amazing story. Like that he did all this bad to her, but thought he was doing the right thing, and now he regrets it and she is full of hatred. It's intense! The only part I would not really... You know, I don't really like, if a guy is... like all over a girl, and when he says that her face is the last that he'll see is kind of too much for me, like kind of cheesy in my interpretation, but it's definitely nothing against your perfect editing, and even though I feel this way about this part, I'm still glad, you included it in your video, because it seems so fitting somehow. I really like the part, when the lyrics talks about something with "your smile" and he smiles so broken, and it is so well edited, and my fave part is probably from like 1:31-1:45 (I just checked the marks, but maybe I already wrote the wrong numbers, because I paused at more moments, and tried to find when that part is exactly) but it is like one of the most intense part in the whole video, and wow! (You know, I'd probably write the right marks, if I'm not in a bit of hurry, because I will take a little trip. First I thought, I'd come back to it later, but I started to write and it seems like I can still finish my comment.)
Either ways, I got really interested in their story, especially after the quote you wrote in your comment from the book. It is really a well written part of a book, that seems to be an actual great book. I wish to read it, but if nudity is as presented in it, as in the show, then I would rather not. Either ways, I LOVE that video! It is so perfectly paced and created and the scene and voice-over choices are so well thought and put, that you make me love them as a couple, despite the part, I've talked about. I really hope, it doesn't offend you, but I think, you're not the type, who would get upset over something like that. I just wanted to express my opinion, but it is not meant in a harmful way. Either ways, I STILL adore your couple choices, because they are still very dynamic and intense and have a lot of angst. So, nevermind! You still make me love every couples of yours, if not for more, at least, for the lengths of your video! Because everything fits so well in each of them. I will maybe watch the video again, if I come back and notice more details, and if so, I might add them to a new comment. I'm not sure, though, because even though, i'm almost sure, that I would watch it many more times, I'm not 100% that I would write it down.
One more thing: congrats on getting a job for yourself! It is a big achievement and good luck on your new place!

I watched it again, and I change the place of the first marks. It's my fave from 1:21 actually, because the moment he breaks the mirror, and her next scene, and then that prophecy (or I don't know what it is, but it kinda sounds like a prophecy) are also very intense and powerful! And I'm sorry for repeating the same words over and over, but I swear, when I write in Hungarian, I use much more colorful words to describe things, especially in my books. So, I feel bad that my word limit is so little in English, I'm sorry about that. Either way, like I said these parts are super intense! 😅❤

Aww, thank you so much! It means a lot that you think this edit is powerful. Because I was really intenting to go in the feels with the slower parts and then rush into a fast dynamic with the frenzied instrumental part of the song. So, reading that is really such a joy! Thank you so much, hun! 💜💜💜
And please never ever feel uncomfortable to tell what you think! As you wrote, there really isn't a reason to fall into a dispute because of other opinions! And I totally get what you mean! In Cahir's case, I just find it fitting because the show REALLY made an effort to make him more evil. Now, the books could be an unreliable narrator to the things he did while fighting for the bad side (explaining the politics would take too much time, so I keep it simple but you know what I mean); however, he was actually more soft in the books. It's mainly the tragedy of his character that is very captivating due to his thinking that he fought for the right thing and then tried to make up for what he caused Ciri to go through and then his fate (which I hope they do change in the series because they killed off a character who is actually still alive, so... how about they let Cahir live as exchange 🤣). I admit I see his love for Ciri also as a counterpart to a flashback we got in the books where his mother insists for him to always feel hatred for his enemies and never forget it (it's a while ago since I read it, so it is a bit unclear but this was the general scene) - so there is a bit contrast which I like that hopefully will play also in the next season (if there is any). Also, I just have a mindset for such dynamics that goes "if he ruined her life, he can also become her little b*tch, serves him right". 😂
So, this is just an explaination on my part. Of course, you don't have to agree! I just hope I could kinda show my point on this and make it clear. 🥰
The song was mainly picked because of his sad smile - so I could put the lyrics over it. So happy to read you point this out! 😍
Hmm... I'm quite a fraud fandom-wise here since I did not enjoy reading the books, if I am honest. Though, I had a mind of "but it would look neat on screen". So, I wouldn't dare to tell someone if the books are a good pick or not. But I admit that if the books had their moments, they absolutely stayed in mind. Maybe you should read through a synopsis or a review and decide if you want to try them out. When it comes to nudity, I actually can't recall much. I remember a few things were mentioned but nothing explicit (at least compared to the stuff I usually read or write, those books were nothing in that regard 🤣). I think it should be alright, and even if there was, it should be skippable without much ado. But I would advise to inform yourself because I cannot remember clearly. Just to be safe. 😇
And that scene you talked in your second comment really IS a prophecy. This is what the attack on Ciri's home was all about - the prophecy tells about the end of the world and now everyone is trying to get to Ciri first because she has Elder Blood and the ability to use space and time. I'm not sure if the issue was truly solved in the books but she does save the world in the game "Witcher 3" if the good ending is achieved, though, I wouldn't be so sure that this fight was what the prophecy is about (a global cooling) and the show is supposed to follow the books, actually. Let's see what the show does. 🤣
And thanks again for your congratulations! It's such fun with the people there and it's also interesting to learn everything I need to know and it's in a city I lived before (studied there, so moving away from it was a bit ironic because I ended up back there anyway) and love, so I'm very happy with how everything turned out. 🤩
