    Super interesting! I thought naively that free diving was just all about holding your breath as long as possible.
    I never knew that the ability to relax plays such an important role.

    Can we see a video about advanced relaxation techniques? Especially attention deconcentration? 🙏

      Ref. : Point 3
      I just imagine my 'body double aka spirit' remaining at the surface breathing connected with kind of naval cord, maybe transforming myself intonot patience but more joy like. KR dD the womb again, with all aspects of natural relaxation and plenty of time not patien

      I think this is too individual to make a general video about. You have to experiment and figure out what works for you and your psyche.

    Thank’s for your experienced feedback! I would suggest a short exercice you have to improvise while doing a daily task and whatever the task (washing plates, fixing a shelf…): hold your breath about one minute ore more while doing this because the goal is to complete the task while ''freediving''. You may also visualize underwater: your life depend of the success so you will observe from time to time you’re drowned dead!…

    Hello Alexey! Very interesting video! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us... I have a question: In the video, starting at about 8:26, your are doing like very short and quick breathing before your dive... I guess it is some sort of technic... can you explain what are you doing there? (I'm a complete newbie about freediving).

    So many questions - does Alexey exhale before going under? if not, does he let air out during the journey down and back? and I assume he has the headlamp to see the line. his eyes are closed most of the time though - does he close his eyes the whole time? wild stuff! great video - world peace to everyone 🙏🏻

    • @LoLEntensindtoll
      @LoLEntensindtoll ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, he doesn't exhale before a dive. No freediver is doing this.

    • @branlob
      @branlob ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you exhale during the freedive that's a signal for the safety diver to pull you up, i.e. your attempt is aborted.
      he actually keeps his eyes open a lot as well during a dive

      Thanks for your comment - it’s a world I know little about. Wild stuff these divers are doing.

    i don't fully understand the idea of mindset. If i go for PB i am often little stressed and i dont know how to overcome this. I train relaxation but in pool and sea it doesnt work.

    Hi Alexei I got my bi fin and after 19th finish hope so the court sheet. So I don t know he ow long I will spend to leave to french polinesia Australia new Zealand better than Nassau. Dean's hole. Because in dean a hole for freediving ok. But for having a life without agressions? Where I should go? Hugs. Kissess and so on so on.

    I think a lot of people came here new to freediving, expecting to get some "hacks" to instantly extend their breath hold. That includes me 🤣

      These may not seem as "hacks" but they are really working and worthy tips )

      it's an overview video to point you in the correct direction. One could make an hour long video about each of the bullet points. You know what to look for now. Don't expect a 15 minute video to teach you everything there is to know about a subject as complex as this.
