im a scale rc builder . watch a lot of TH-cam and started watching trains for a little change....and between you and Classic Model Trains im feeling this hobby.
Thank you for the kind words!! If I can help bring you to the dark side, I’m all for it! LOL I haven’t been in the RC world for many years, but would love to get another gas powered car/truck for some fun again. Have any recommendations? Used to have a traxxis truck years ago, but man did that thing love $$!!
Everything looks great. Love the smoke effect coming out of that chimney. My favorite effect is the storm clouds. Thank you for the video. Even though my bone marrow transplant did not do the job. It did bring me into a cancer that is for now treatable. With a new drug that was not available months ago. So I watch great videos like yours, and it got me moving on my fantasy Christmas layout. On my good days my wife helps me. On bad days do have on running track up to watch my trains. Please remember your hard work does more than just make your layout better. But helps folks like me believe there is a medical healing with the trains. Thank you so much Zack. God bless you. Please keep up the great work for us all. Tom S Cape Cop. Mass
Thank you Tom! Very sorry to hear the news! However, glad to hear it sounds somewhat treatable. Sending thoughts and prayers your way for a speedy recovery! I think it’s terrific your wife is helping you. That is a great bond. All the best 🥃🍻
Awesome yard and update Zac. Thanks for the shoutout, I’m always happy to hear what I do inspires others. Your addition of the yard makes me think I really need to get a yard in on my planned extension. Yours just looks so great. Oh and I really like the backdrop. I was just checking out their site. It really isn’t too expensive, I might have to plan on using something from them too.
Hey Dave! Thank you sir! Glad you like the yard! Do believe one would make a nice addition to yours! Yea, the backdrops arnt too bad, just hated having to replace one that was already up. Was getting caught up on some YT this morning. See you got a new TMCC system!! Congrats!! It’s getting dangerous now! LOL think you’ll have a ton of fun with it!
Great progress, Zack. That rail yard looks great. You are inspiring me to get some work done on my own layout. I look forward to completion of the upper loop. Thanks for sharing.
Looks awesome Zach, details really matter and you done a awesome job 👍 rail yard come out great love the fuel plate form great job coming together nice 👍 Thanks (Eddie)
Nice!! Your fuel loading dock looks good! If I could make a suggestion...one could put a tank between the back 2 lights in connection with that platform just to finish off the look. Horizontal tank or maybe knock the wheels off an old tank car and do your weathering. Looking good!! Thanks for sharing.😀👌
Zach really enjoyed the new rail yard addition. Now that Bridge Boss is no longer manufacturing trestles, owner died, may use your idea for a point to point 2 track elevated subway line.
The new scene and additions look great! Yeah I ended up replacing the micro bulbs on my MTH passenger platforms with pre-wired warm white LEDs as they burned out. Switch panel looks nice and clean as well. Good motivation for me to mount all my track switches to a panel instead of hanging 🙄😆. Cheers!
Thanks for this super update, Zach. The rail yard looks awesome. I like that you've given time to add a lot of detail and refinement to the structures with weathering. Quite a great job completed!
Very nice with the new scenery. The engine house and accompanying stub tracks for the fueling, sand and coaling tower look exceptional. You answered the question that I and others were going to ask about the upper level. That will just be the icing on the cake and make the layout look even more fantastic. Keep up the fine work and I look forward to your next update and video.
The rail yard is looking great! Never seen that MTH Fueling Station before, nice piece. Also, I love how you have the telephone poles going to the engine shed. It's very well done. - Ryan
ZAK SAKUTE AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS NICE LAYOUT PROGRESS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAVING FUN YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT AND FORGET ALL THE NEGATIVE RESPONSES ITS YOUR RR GOD BLESS ;-)
I finally caught a video of yours that was done less than an hour of you posting one. Your creativity and enjoyment of the hobby is a huge part of your video presentations. This video particularly caught my attention, because I’m currently putting together a layout that is of the same pattern of your second layout. Great work! 😎
You are doing a really great job on this layout. There is no need to rush further construction because what are you going to do when you get it done? For me, that is when I start tearing up all my hard work to significantly change it, or start a new layout.
Hi Zack your scenery skills are getting better and better I really like your river industry back drop I have a winter mountain scene on mine On your polyfill smoke you can mist gray or black car primer at about 18 inches back to darken it up 👍😃
Wow, 400+ videos vs 27. No wonder why you have 7.5K subs….takes a lot of effort, I assume….lol. I’m still a strong supporter of using Great Stuff to fill in gaps along hills, etc. I’m surprised it’s not used more often. Everything looks great though, keep it up!

Thanks!! 🥃🍻yea, the bulbs and assemblies for these old accessories are getting harder and harder to find!!
I don't even collect trains anymore and yet I'm always excited to see you post new videos. Great work on your setup, nice new backdrop btw
Thank you!! Maybe we can help persuade you back in?? LOL

This is a very nice scenery! The rail yard is my favorite part of the model railroad! Cant wait for the next one!
Very nice!

Layout is really coming along. Ever think of covering your windows with more backdrops.
Wow Zach so good Buddy
Nice work, looks great! Consider adding a couple of old Marx #416 Light Towers. Inexpensive and they will look vintage.

Really taking shape! Love that extra little bit of detail on the lower loop with the “cut” through the mountain. Keep up the great work
Hi Zack your scenery skills are getting better and better I really like your river industry back drop I have a winter mountain scene on mine On your polyfill smoke you can mist gray or black car primer at about 18 inches back to darken it up 👍😃
Thanks Dan! Did think of misting some color on that polyfill. Might have to give it a try to spruce it up a bit. 🥃🍻
Looks nice. I would like to see a picture of you up on top of one of the layouts. Maybe let your wife take the picture. I enjoyed this video.
👍👍👍👍.
I often wondered how you get access to the windows for opening & closing as well as cleaning? I can’t imagine the layout is on wheels. 😊😊
They are locked in there now! 😂🤣
Neat 😎👍!
Did'nt you originally build that side with menards tubular track?
Looks great Zach, those trees are giants. P.S. What's a plethora?
Great work on the scenery Zach. How’d you make the grass Woodland Scenics?
I used their static grass tool they offer. Honestly though, i think the vacuum after spreading does a better job. Thanks!
Great update.. your layout is really looking good. i like your power control, where did you get it?
Thank you!! I built it out of 18 or 20 gauge steel from Home Depot (forget the thickness, as it’s been a while, but either will work).
Do you buy your Menards stuff online or drive up to Georgia?
If you could Flip the Coaling tower the Other Way so It Wouldn’t conflict the Oil Depot.
Can I ask you a question Are you gonna Mailhouse turntable to
No turntable for this layout. Just not enough room. Thank you for watching!!
You're welcome amazing layout to
