Ebonee you are in a league of your own when it comes to high end thrifted style on TH-cam. All your outfits look like they've just come off the Ralph Lauren runway. Stunning. I love how you talk about the importance of good quality materials. I love hearing what fabric an item is made from. Put your cashmere in a sealed box or bag to protect it from moths. Greetings from Ireland. :)
Your videos are some of my favorites on here. Loved the last Chloe fashion show - the way boho was done with all that lace, sheerness and black as a grounding base. Would love to see you thrift it.
Excellent informative and inspiring video! Your solution to rescue the dress as a skirt - genius! Are you sure you couldn’t wear the two belts together? It seems that you could loop one belt though the buckle of the other and then tuck it or knot it ... am I making any sense? LOL Looking forward to you shopping your closet for the spring trends!
Good point. I would actually suggest darning with a matching thread. My grandma tought me how to darn. I don’t think I’ve ever used it to fix any socks (as the women of yesteryear did on the regular) but I’ve rescued many a woolen sweater after the moth scourge had been through it.
@@eboneegatlin Darning is a really useful skill. It really shines with slightly bigger holes. If the holes in your cardigan are really tiny, and you can secure the fabric from further unraveling without it showing, stitching might work just as well (and is a lot simpler). However, if securing the fabric with stitching would create a pucker - darning is the way to go. Good luck!
Looooooove love the white dress ❤

Thank you and yes you are making sense! I think it’s def possible!
Love it all but that vintage RL cardigan..... you can mend the holes - just a simple needle and thread, stitch through them from the inside.

Yes, I will so do that!
I’ll have to look up darning, I can do basic hand sewing but I’m happy to learn more!
