I really like the idea of a healthbar for the bosses, they are super helpful for knowing how much damage your dealing
Seeing the hp going low makes them more likely to dodge
You can actually get the by the devil's cheat mod
That was a really good idea of doing a health bar because you can also tell what phase they're becoming that's why I like it
I prefer a challenge I rather see how far I got to defeating the boss

Tip: If you don’t damage onion boi it will move onto next phase and the radish guy will fight you with carrot
That’s one of the secret phases of one boss for each isle which could be easier or harder for some players.
The others include Djimmy the Great, Sally Stageplay, and the Howling Aces.

I find this mod very interesting. It shows you exactly that sometimes there is absolutely no reason to shoot or waste special attack, because you don't do any damage during some of the boss transitions.
Can we just appreciate the fact that he obliterated Rumor Honeybottoms before she could even get her sawblade attack ready?

Curiously, in the Moonshine mob boss fight, except for the last phase with the snail, the enemies aren't focused on you, as the mob and the ant cops are fighting each other, meaning that if you get hurt, is result of some collateral damage in the crossfire.
Actually, the mob is trying to fight you and the cops at the same time, according to the death quotes.

I just noticed that during the Moonshine mob after the fake knockout when you get the real one before the narrator speaks he clears his throat as if to say that he's actually the one doing it.
I wish this was included in the game. It would make sense to figure out how much longer does it take to defeat a boss and their phases.

I know the hitpoints for each boss and their phases, and the damage each weapon does, but that's hard to calculate sooooooooooo... yeah. Good idea.

Wow a no damage run amazing play through and cuphead bosses having health bars is better than trying to guess what there health is,They should have added something like this as an unlockable for completing the game or VIa side quests

I know the main draw of the game is the boss fights but seeing the health bars really puts into perspective how long they are.

I actually managed to access the amount of hit points of each boss on the Cuphead wiki (the hit points for each phase too) and the amount of damage each weapon does, and I know that a boss is being damaged when it’s sprite is flashing. Health bars are easier, but still, it’s fun to know the HP for every boss.

I don’t know why people think Ribby and Croaks are the final bosses of inkwell isle 1. Cagney Carnation is the one that clears the way to the second isle so Ribby and Croaks are before,and the 2nd isle is the perfect time to trick people into thinking they’re already done with the isle so fast but they didn’t.

@@lorenzorafael4600 actually, the last boss you beat of an isle is the final boss for you of the isle, so for me, the last boss I beat in inkwell isle 1 was Hilda, Cagney was the 3rd one I beat, so the last boss you beat of an isle is the final boss for you in the isle, which means that it can be the final boss of isle 1 for them.

Sally stage play is easily cleared with astral cookie, super art 2, roundabout, and crackshot. I mainly use crackshot for angel and demon phase but roundabout is good for the rest
