After 5 months of not riding, I am finally back at it!! What better way to get back into than riding the new Sportster! See how my ride goes on the Iron 883.

Just got back from Parker, AZ. Wow it was HOT. I will never complain about Texas heat again. Lol
It just got even hotter this week!!!! Yuck. I need to take a bike somewhere cooler. 🥵😅

She's back! They all start out new and were meant to be used, don't sweat it if something happens because it doesn't really matter. Dropping a bike is actually pretty common, even for seasoned riders. The only bikes I know of that were never dropped or almost dropped are the ones for sale on Facebook Marketplace, Cycle Trader, and Craigslist. None of those bikes were dropped! No need to be afraid of the quicker bike, you control it with your right hand. That really is one sweet bike Jon scored, very happy to see it rehomed in the same garage! The little guy is getting big! So cute!

On my 2014 sportster if you give it a little rev before you try to get neutral it shifts into it easier

Glad you're back. I think you should keep this Iron, and swap the tins so you get to keep on riding a gorgeous red Sportster, but have the hop ups. 'Swap the Tins!' 'Swap The Tins!' 'Swap The Tins!'

@@JackiesMotoGarage I ain't seen no scratches, lol. But I do see that orangeish gold flake in the red paint where the sun glides across the surface of the tank. That color is certainly worth having scratches fixed. It's not the color of my Sportster, but if that color was an option on my preferred varient, I would have looked hard for it.

On my iron 1200 I discovered it is easier for me to pop it into neutral from second than first gear. I had to get a few thousand miles on it before it loosened up.

Does anybody know what kind of gauge mount they used for the T-Bars?
It may be an la choppers. Get lowered has them. Not 100% tho. I’m trying to figure out which bars and the gauge is myself
