As always Cool Breeze MDreeezy - thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your subscribers and the heartfelt commentary. You bring light into so many peoples lives and you are greatly appreciated.
You are a very wise young man. "Be present" - all of your words, so true! Most don't come to that realization until much later than life. You have a beautiful life ahead!
That is exactly what Jim meant, always on tour, recording, days going by and him missing time his little boy. You may be 21 years old, but you do have the right understanding and the feelings that will guide through life. Bless you, greetings from Porto, Portugal.
MDreeesy , I just wanted to say I watch a lot of these Reactions from various individuals and your doing a FANTASTIC JOB young Buck 👍 Keep up the good work !!!!
We were all robbed of his massive talent,so sad. Listen to the other comments and pick anyone of the other songs they suggested because they are all great. You keep knocking it out of the ballpark! Great job!
Jim Croce wrote this song when he knew that he would become a father, His son is a great musician too. A sad day when Jim Croce and Maury Muehleisen (who played the intricate guitar parts) died in a plane crash in late 1973.
As a 62 year old guy that was lucky enough to grow up with the music of 60s, 70s, and 80s I really enjoy your reaction videos. It’s fun to see you younger guys enjoying it. Thanks for your enthusiasm. 😊
Hey Dreezy! Thank you for reacting to Jim Croce again, he was an awesome storyteller and singer, sadly like the best ones he died to soon. FABULOUS reaction!
MDreeezy you are wise beyond your years. Be in the present!! For someone so young to understand that thought I really admire you . Jim has a funnier/happier side if you try songs like, "Car wash Blues", or ' Rapid Roy", you will get another side of Jim Croce. And don't forget his most popular song, " I Got A Name". Thank you again for appreciating this wonderful artist.
So glad I found your channel. You really think deeply about the songs you're listening to; and you make the connection with what message the singer is trying to convey. P.S. Really appreciate that you don't feel the need to smoke, drink or curse during your reaction videos. 💚😊💚
Excellent, insightful reaction to Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle". Lucky enough to see Jim live in Pittsburgh opening for Loggins + Messina. Great show.
My compliments to you MDreezy for always using the best audio equipment to play your music reviews on. Trust me we can hear the difference between your sound and the other channels out there. It's money well spent. it shows you appreciate your subscribers and we also appreciate you. Another Great Review ! !
This song always brings tears to my eyes. The haunting melody, the lyrics, and knowing how his life was cut so short. One of his best, and one of my favs.
Fingerpicking guitar is my favorite style. Great storyteller. Soothing music. There was a lot of Love songs and feel good music back then. Not so much today. It's sad and maybe why the world seems so angry.
I think this great kid will do very well in life. Just think, he gets to listen to all of the great music at once. Maybe his life will be better than ours. What do you think?😢😢
For some reason this song always reminds me of Christmas time. Maybe it came out that time of year or maybe I would often hear it on the car radio that time of year but it always conjures up the feelings of Christmas.
This is an absolutely timeless song. I’ve listened to it countless times and each time it’s like hearing it for the first time. M Please consider reacting to another classic from the same time period, “I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash.
Great song...great reaction. I'm surprised you've never heard it before. It was in the movie X-men: Days of Future. Keep reacting to the good ol bangers!!!
Yes, another beautiful one. That one brings tears to my eyes every time. I hear what you're saying about time and that always makes me think about "Time" by Pink Floyd "You're young and life is long and there is time to kill today. And then one day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run. You missed the starting gun." Treasure each moment. Live each moment. PF and Jim said it differently, but it's the same message.
Jim also has some fun, non-sentimental story telling songs. He likes a good bar fight, too. You can hear about that in his other hits "Leroy Brown" and "You Don’t Mess Around With Jim".
He's not ALWAYS serious. You would love his funny " Rapid Roy The Stock Car Boy". "Roller Derby Queen". Hilarious story telling. Every one else will tell you Bad Bad Leroy Brown.....but for me....Rapid Roy!!!
This style of guitar picking is one of the hardest to learn. It is called “Travis Picking” where thumb plays on the beat and fingers play syncopated triplets. This one is far more difficult than most as it climbs note scales and changes directions on the triplets constantly. Similar to this in picking style are “Dust in the Wind” by Kansas and “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.
Glad you understand it's a message you need early in life and so glad the The Universe hit you with this and "Imagine", too...but now you have to do ***DREAMER*** by Ozzy today if you can, it goes with the theme. :)
This song is especially poignant as Jim Croce was killed in a plane crash not too long after this song came out. He was still young with a young family.
As always Cool Breeze MDreeezy - thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your subscribers and the heartfelt commentary. You bring light
into so many peoples lives and you are greatly appreciated.
I love your reaction. You are very reflective for your age! 💕☮️🙏🏼
This is a song for my husband ❤️ Especially, "If I had a box just for wishes....."

Beautiful song beautiful voice.
I remember my mother crying when she heard the news of his death. I was very young but her grief made me pay attention.
*Bro! Tomorrow is never promised! Every morning we wake up is a blessing! Be GREAT and keep listening and growing!* 🙌🏾💪🏾👊🏾
I've Got A Name ❤❤❤❤
🌸 dude , every day you just amazed me at your insight and your wisdom at such a young age... you're just the sweetest
As a 62 year old guy that was lucky enough to grow up with the music of 60s, 70s, and 80s I really enjoy your reaction videos. It’s fun to see you younger guys enjoying it. Thanks for your enthusiasm. 😊
I've got a Name is another great song to reflect on.....
Beautiful, timeless message and as always, a thoughtful, wise reaction. 💕👍
Hey Dreezy! Thank you for reacting to Jim Croce again, he was an awesome storyteller and singer, sadly like the best ones he died to soon. FABULOUS reaction!
I still tear up, thinking how soon after he recorded this song that he was killed in a plane crash. Such a beautiful and haunting song.
And the fact that it was finding out his wife was finally expecting his child that motivated the writing of this song
@@angelskunk2206 It's heartbreaking.
That hit me hard this morning. Beautiful song. This is what's so great about music. It lives and grows with you.
Very many more good Jim Croce songs. "One less set of footsteps" and "I've got a Name" are fantastic.
If you haven't already, listen to If You Could Read My Mind by Gordon Lightfoot, another great story teller and a Canadian.
RIP Jim. You are loved and missed always. Great reaction as always ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'd love to see a reaction to car wash blues.
You're going to love Bad, Bad Leroy Brown & You Don't Mess Around with Jim.
☝️ fun songs
Once you hear this song, even once you remember it. Awesome reaction MD keep them coming.
Beautiful song ...great story teller...calming voice...do more Croce please...thank you. ❤❤❤
To think Jim would live to be 30 and Maury 24...it hits harder with this song. RIP to Jim and Maury.
You treat these experiences as classes. I love the way you are open to learning.
This is a great song. Everything about him hits home. Great song for life experience.
I had this song at my wedding in 1981.
Wow. Great choice.
💙So sadly sweet and prophetic, this one always makes me misty.
Beautiful song.
Before you know it, it’s over. And is stunning.
It makes me feel good Seeing a young man like you opening up to the great music of our great past.
You are a wise and good young man.
Thanks, Dreez.. so "evocative".. and beautiful.. one of his best, IMHO... appreciate your reaction!
So glad I found your channel. You really think deeply about the songs you're listening to; and you make the connection with what message the singer is trying to convey.

💚😊💚
and he doesn't talk over the music or stop it every other minute. He's just so chill.
That, and let the people you love know you love them while they’re still here
I grew up hearing this. Now that most of my family is gone it brings back sooooo many memories and just hits home for me. Thanks for reacting to this.
Excellent, insightful reaction to Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle". Lucky enough to see Jim live in Pittsburgh opening for Loggins + Messina. Great show.
I got a name by Jim croce

Play "i have to say i love you in a song" bye him its short but sweet
This song always brings tears to my eyes. The haunting melody, the lyrics, and knowing how his life was cut so short. One of his best, and one of my favs.
Best line "I've looked around enough to know, you're the one I want to go through time with."
Wonderful, warm, smooth voice ❣️
Another great song and reaction. Thank you!
Damn song always chokes me up.
I didn't know you were so young. You are so mature for your age, you're so impressive. 😊
2 days in a week you should never worry about..... yesterday and tomorrow
Fingerpicking guitar is my favorite style. Great storyteller. Soothing music. There was a lot of Love songs and feel good music back then. Not so much today. It's sad and maybe why the world seems so angry.
🌸 he left us way way too soon....30 years old 💔
Great job as always. Keep doing songs I love!
I think this great kid will do very well in life. Just think, he gets to listen to all of the great music at once. Maybe his life will be better than ours. What do you think?😢😢
MD you are so good. Since I found you, I can't wait to see what you think of " our" , now, Your!! Music.
I had this song played at my wedding.
Great song, and the waltz time signature is perfect for a wedding.
Great proposal or wedding song. So beautiful!
❤ great reaction! Great song.
Wise words!
Oh, lovely song. THANKS !!!!!
This song hits harder when the years are gone.
For some reason this song always reminds me of Christmas time. Maybe it came out that time of year or maybe I would often hear it on the car radio that time of year but it always conjures up the feelings of Christmas.
Love your reactions, so heart felt! For something a little more fun from Croce try Rapid Roy Stock Car Boy or Roller Derby Queen!
Jim's widow wrote a cookbook called "Thyme in a Bottle" ❤
Hi … he wrote this song for his newborn son ….
Such a talent taken too soon.
Take it from us oldsters Dreeezy - that time goes so fast. Twenty-one seems like yesterday and another lifetime all at the same time.
I’m 72. (I know. I can’t believe it either.) You are helping me appreciate what a great life I had. Thank you.
Lovely song. 🎶
This is an absolutely timeless song. I’ve listened to it countless times and each time it’s like hearing it for the first time. M
Please consider reacting to another classic from the same time period, “I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash.
Pretty sure this was his most popular song, however the rest of them are just as worthy
❤wonderful song
when he wrote this song he thought he had a long life ahead of him-he didnt. Knowing his outcome, makes the making present life more important
🌸 I stand by my suggestion of his song "you don't mess around with Jim" . 😊😊
Great song...great reaction. I'm surprised you've never heard it before. It was in the movie X-men: Days of Future. Keep reacting to the good ol bangers!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Jim Croce did so many good songs , Bad Bad Leroy Brown , Don’t mess around with Jim
Roller Derby Queen for some good fun.
Nice reaction!

This is my favourite song from him 😂🔥I found it from a Xmen movie
❤❤❤
🔥🔥🔥
Flashbacks to freshman year in college..... thanks.
You’re awesome, especially at 21! For more story songs, give any Harry Chapin song a try!
Glad you understand it's a message you need early in life and so glad the The Universe hit you with this and "Imagine", too...but now you have to do ***DREAMER*** by Ozzy today if you can, it goes with the theme. :)
"Songs you can benefit from." I love that.
Much of today's music is so dark, negative and some downright demonic. I'm not interested in that
.
Please check out -
"Ive Got a Name"
"Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" &

I highly recommend "Operator. "
Please do some Karen Carpenter 😢

Yes, you have a life ahead of you but one day you find 10 years have got behind you…
Listen to Pink Floyd’s “Time”.
This song is especially poignant as Jim Croce was killed in a plane crash not too long after this song came out. He was still young with a young family.
YOU GOT THE WRONG MESSAGE !!! IT'S A LOVE SONG.
.NONE BETTER!
