    ●Fushimi inari Taisha is the headquarters of the approximatery 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan.
    ●Founded in 711
    ●The founder's name is Hatano Iroko.He is a descendant of the Hata family.The current Priest is also part of the Hata family.
    ●The name Inari Taisha comes from the fact that a rice cake with a bow and arrow pierced it tuned into a swan and alighted
    on the mountain peak wherer rice ripened.
    ●Good harvest and prosperous business are your blessings.
    ●It is also the filming location for the 2005 Hollywood movie Sayuri. The main character was running through Senbon Torii.
    ●Mt.Inari is 233m above sea level.
    ●The Oyama tour takes about 4km and 2 hours on the normal route.  
    ●There are approximately 10,000 Senbon Torii gates.
    ●There are also over 10,000 small shrines within the precincts.
    ●There's a pond that can help search for missing people.
    ●The deeper you go, the quieter and richer the nature becomes.

    こんにちは!
    伏見稲荷大社に関してはネタも多いのですが、やはり松尾大社同様、秦氏による創建というのが興味深いですね。
    長岡京・平安京遷都を行った桓武天皇の母親・高野新笠も渡来人ですしね。

      コメントありがとうございます。松尾大社の説明員が、言っていた、渡来人の秦氏は、本当は、ユダヤ人だったというのも、本当かもしれません。
