    This time Iam visiting Kegonji Temple in Matsuo,Kyoto.
    ** Highlights of Kegonji Temple **
    ●Founded in 1723AD
    ●It was founded by a monk named Hotan.
    ●Hotan was the first Japanese scholar to create a world map.
    ●Happiness Jizo is on the left side of the Sanmon gate.
    ●Happiness Jizo is also known as Tek-Tek Jizo and wears straw sandals.
    ●Therefore,the Happiness Jizo will come to your home.
    ●This is a temple where bell insects are chirping all year round.
    ●The sermon given by the chief priest of this temple is famous as the Suzumushi sermon.
    ●The main hall enshrines the principal images of Dainichi Nyorai and Jizo Bodhisattva.
    ●You can see a panoramic view of Kyoto city from the top of the garden.

    お疲れ様です! 人気のお寺ですね。コロナ初期の頃に行ったので、法話はありましたが、お茶や菓子は出ませんでした。
