As a disabled person myself, that was my dream too. Making a business to create opportunities to people and raise awareness. I don’t think I’ll have the time for that. If I know that my life will be cut short this way and learn my lesson to look after myself first and after others, then probably I would have been just go for it… but I didn’t. Somehow it’s paradoxical, because I still think about helping others, but now I know where my priorities would be. It’s just too late. I wish to this team would achieve their goals and more! But first and foremost I wish to them good health, so they can carry on!
@@davinamayor7776 because I have a rare cancer with other Co morbidities, with the options to choose between bad and worse. During the years I had to make this binary choices couple of times, and unfortunately even I chose the bad it’s still got worse. NHS was too slow with the investigation of my cancer and the predictions are not good. I have according to them maybe two years to live. But they didn’t take in consideration a few factors which make the tumour grow faster and spreading to other parts of my body. They lied to me about the state of my cancer at the first place, so they prediction not something I would trust.
It makes a wonderful change from the governments approach, which is shame disabled people for not working. When really it’s very difficult to find people who are happy to help!
Good morning! It's a new year, 2024. May this year bring you even more health and good things. And always support your beautiful/fascinating activities. ^^
Since this team and the excellent work they've been doing began, I've only now been buying socks from them! Let's keep pushing for disability inclusion!
I bet they don’t even make a single pair of socks, they just get a sweat shop to make them for them somewhere abroad and then charge a huge premium for them. I’ve hand knitted most of my own socks, well I have the time because I’m disabled and not currently in work…! (I do substantial hours of unpaid voluntary work each week, working around my disability, to give back, before you make assumptions about me not being in paid work!)
Absolutely. The economics of this simply do not make sense in modern Britain. It's fine if you have some free time to pursue a hobby, but their produce and productivity cannot compete with cheaper foreign imports.
@MonstehDinosawr but remember that in real life you have to be able to take criticism. So my question to you is, where are the socks made? If we don't know then they could be made in a sweat shop. Most products are. Then you have to ask about where the money goes. Also non of them asked what price per pair, bit odd.

They need to employee disabled people who help makes the socks.
They do
put some shoes on.
Not really liking the new feel of this show, it’s gonna end up like the shark tank with dramatic music and over edited
Dragons den feels different this series
Well this looks like a complete loss making enterprise, but it's good philanthropic optics for these most insincere dragons
