Extremely detailed day as an esthetician.
This is my pov and my set up process for a busy day of back to back appointments! In this video I will share some of the tips I’ve learned since I’ve graduated school and have been working at a spa.

The reason I wanted to become an Esthetician and go to Esthetician school was because after everything shut down I started to ask myself what I really wanted to do with my life and you may be like me just starting your journey are even decided what you should do I will say do all the research you can and trust your gut!!!
Esthetics is just a booming industry and we all have skin that needs to be taken care so there is always a space for you.

i absolutely LOVED this video! i graduated esthetics school in june 2022 and i never realized how little they taught me as far as how to grow/brand myself as an esthetician. they really, truly, only teach you the BASICS. the way you portray yourself throughout this video makes you look extremely humble, so thank you for making it, and good luck on your career! 🤍

Thanks for subscribing and supporting and watching and commenting ✨💕 yes school is really only for the basic which is crazy because we really should learn more but I realized over time some of it is just repetitive so you eventually get better but still lol that’s why I worked somewhere prior to got out on my own.
I think it's pretty cool that you found a spa where you could be the only esthetician. What a wonderful way to build clientele. Also, word of mouth is some of the BEST marketing. Enjoyed the video.

Can you tell us what is the going pay of 2022 for estheticians?? I've seen enormous amount of videos different cities and states and everyone says the going rate is between 11 to 14 an hour.!!🤦🏻♀️👎🏼 Which is kind of distressing considering you go to school for anywhere from 4:00 to 6 months pay back a student loan that could be anywhere from $4,000 to as much as 10,000 depending on the city and state. And not even make enough to really make a comfortable living I got a problem with that. Can you do a video that shows us how to set up for state board and what are your key tips for studying for the written to pass it??🤔 the first time and key tips for the practical??🥰👌🏼 Sorry for so many questions but I'm asking things that I know many of us want to see I'm very proud of you continue the great work. My greatest advice is to make sure you have more than one skill in the beauty field that you can always combine with the aesthetics either electrolysis, barbering, cosmetology, hair braiding. Just to give a few examples so that you have more than one way of making money. In the beauty field. I wish you wonderful success God is good and beyond able keep your mind on him keep your faith strong. And know that he will come to your rescue when you least expect it.
Yes I can, that is a lot of questions I mean the pay ranges depending on your area I obviously don’t make the most money in the world but I make enough to cover my needs and I’m fine with that. I have other skills that I use as well and I’m always taking continuous education courses along with gaining experience that would allow my prices to go up I say it’s best to invest in one’s self to help be the best version of me. I’m so glad you’ve found what works best for you 💕

Just came across your video August 12th, 2022. So congratulations on becoming a new esthetician I'm very proud to see a nice young person coming out this year and starting to work. My first question to you is how much was your tuition to become an esthetician??😉😇🤔 and how many clock hours did you have to do? Have you thought about going back to get your instructors license since that's where the money really comes in at and if not why?? I've been a licensed manicures this year be 31 years and I got tired of doing it based on the amount of money I always had to come out of invying supplies and not little money at that large sums at that time. When I first started you could make $500 to $3,000 a day from 1988 through about 1995 until those that were not from the US come in and offer $10 to do acrylics and I wasn't going to do 10 or $20 when my supplies cost more. So I just stopped doing it but I keep my license nevertheless. Looking to go back to take up quite a few different more things to pair with my manicuring license. 😉😇🙋🏻♀️✨💯

I'm going to be totally honest,....... I was a nail tech and couldn't deal with the monomers smell ( it caused several migraines. But I definitely wanted to stay in the beauty fields. So I registered for esthisician school but some Facebook groups (esthisician groups) have been discouraging me from going to esthisician school because of my age and all that. What do you think? I am disabled but CAN WALK AND STAND AND MOVE.
I think that if you have to determination to do it, you can do it. I wouldn’t let somebody else’s limiting belief stop you. That’s my personal opinion however, knowing your limitations, you have to also be realistic and how much work it’s going to take for you to overcome those, and I’m sure you’ve had to overcome many obstacles in your life in this will not be any different.

Hey just received my license this month! Just a question how much should you save up in order to rent a studio?!
Congratulations!!!! How exciting!!!!! That’s a great question…I would recommend saving as much as you can possibly save it’s going to take time to build clientele and you want to be able to still make rent even if your appointments cxl with out being stressed day to day! I would recommend saving at least 6 months of rent! It truly depends on you! Some people works while they rent! Take it one day at a time. I personally decided to work at a spa on commission while I build my clientele and it makes the no shows and reschedules less of a pain point!

Hey love my school taught me how to wax in general but we didn’t offer Brazilians to the public so I had to take a one on one with one or my friends that owns a shop now and learned from her! Why? Did you have questions?
