We bleed orange! You got to love a diesel in a mower. Having a tractor means endless options as long as you have money. Tires will really help and when it comes to the paint, Kubota's brand is ridiculously high, $13 to $15 a spray can. I found my local hardware store had orange paint that was labeled Allis-Chambers orange and it's the same stuff for about $6 a can. Have fun, it's addicting.

you are missing the adapter plate for the back end of the blade and the piece that goes on the front of the mower to keep the blade from moving left and right while in use.

My neighbor's got an older Kubota same model. For $500 you got yourself a steal. They make a Deere mower look like a toy.

Yea hook a Deere x595 to it and drag it around lol these are great but no Deere diesel like a 430,332,455, or x series

I have had one of these and a 1900 all-wheel steering for about 10 years now. I bought them and gave them to our church to mow 8 acres with. We finally bought a ZD 331 72 inch for the church and they gave them back to me 3 ears ago. I sold the 1900 it was to big for my yard. But, I love the 1800. Best mower ever built in my opinion.

You need to turn the key to preheat for 10 seconds for an instant start when it has been setting for a while.I bought mine in 1992 and it has been great and still is!

Would you be able to post a quick video of the amount of lift the plow/dozer blade has?? Was thinking of making a pair of pallet forks for mine to move stuff around the shop. Thanks again, great video, you earned a new subscriber 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇦🇺👍🏻👍🏻 from Australia.

Does she have glow plugs you have to wait for? That thing is so awesome! Thanks for sharing.

mine does. The reason the tractor in this video was so hard to start is because he didn't properly use the glow plugs. He just cranked it without them, which isn't good on the engine!

Looks good your frugalness, I heard you shouldn't try to use it pulling your truck out of the mud, well at least until you get the tow truck attachment=)

My dad bought a G1800 with a 48" deck NEW in 1999, and he still has the receipt. Including sales tax, it cost $8200 US. So, considering that cost new, he got a GREAT deal at $500 for this one. My dad still has his, and I just found one locally and bought it at $650, and it had a new starter installed, two new front tires, a new fuel lift pump, and the old original starter (I'm going to see about having it rebuilt locally in the future). These little machines are built like a tank!
