While the character models were obviously pretty polygonal - the animations and gestures were incredibly expressive and the "directing" for lack of a better term, was also really good. The way the scenes were set up and the "cuts" were super cinematic. And the absolute BANGER music, holy shit!

btw at 25:41 Insym accidentally skipped the rest of the animation where Bryan finishes eating and then puts his name on the wall, which is why he hadn't seen "Bryan was here" before the good ending.

This was easily one of the funniest streams I've ever attended live. I was absolutely cackling at the writing of this game. And then the bangers out of nowhere?? Pour one out for Tyler o7
This is how a good writing can carry a long way and developer knew how to play to their strengths, giving it all a cinematic looking twist.
Despite the graphics looking simple and silly, I actually apreciated a lot, that they used real pictures for the characters' faces, this allowed to use so much more subtleties in showing their emotions as well it was easier to connect with the characters.
So happy that you went for another ending, allowing us to enjoy this masterpiece, what a great experience this game was ❤❤

I laughed, I screamed, I cried... This... Is not just a game... It's not just a masterpiece, it's an instant classic that transcends both gaming and cinema. I have been profoundly impacted by this game. It has left a mark upon my soul that will never leave. Someone, please turn this into a feature film. And never forget Tyler, or to take your PTO...

At the beginning of the game, I would have never believed it would turn into this thrilling experience with some of the most epic blockbuster scenes that threw me in a whirlwind of emotions, and all I have to say is I need to play this game for myself!!
POV: (spoilers ahead) Tyler actually somehow survived and found himself back to the civilization as part of his dismissal benefits, but with his memory of the job and the restaurant completely wiped. At least that's what I'd hope to see in the much-needed sequel!!

The gameplay isn't necessarily revolutionary, but the WRITING, the CINEMATICS, the MUSIC??? It is SO masterfully crafted and it understands that the game isn't extremely serious. It's funny, witty, cheesy but in a good way.

Insym, you should play this game called 'Voices of the Void,' it's something like Signal Simulator if you've ever seen that, it takes a long time to actually get into it, because the game requires you to be immersed for the scares to work.
I really doubted how this game could be 1h long but holy this was a good ride and definitely deserves more attention. The music is also really well done! I’m just curious as to what happened to the woman that Bryan was with in terms of consequence for his actions?

people missed the end, after he sees "bryan was here" his background shows the palm trees of the beach, probably implying he never left.
The main character looks more like the older brother from Malcom in the Middle than Insym.

FYI, that plane ✈️ at the end was a Japanese 🇯🇵 Zero fighter from WW2. As a Cthulhu-esque horror game, it makes sense that “Manny’s” has been in operation for many, many years.
