Thank you so much. As a senior widow. I'm learning about a lit of things I didn't know. But, most videos assume you already know a lot. Thank you for starting at step one.
I am trying to replace a faucet in my powder room with a pedestal sink. I've removed everything, but can't figure out how to remove the flexible water line from the shut off valve. My house was built in 2019; it's not the usual type where I can just unbolt / unscrew the bolt to remove the water line. Any idea what kind of shut off valve this is and how can I remove the water lines from them. Thanks! - Joan
I put all my pipes to my shower, kitchen sink, laundry and bathroom sink into a dry well I found on my property, I had my sons father do it for me and since then I have a bad smell in my kitchen sink, and I smelled it once or twice in my shower, it has a rotten smell maybe almost like I'm smelling water that has stuff from dishes in it and showers ect. Is this because he disconnected from outside air vent? Do I need to put air vents underneath...or a one way air vent? I have a small house so the septic is also small and older so I had to take it out of the septic it was killing it.. Help me please.. I don't have the cash to hire a plumber for 3 or 400 with Xmas coming, it's almost like chemical smell sometimes too..I have to fix..I've dine some Bing but still learning..any info is great..thank you from worring mom...
I got stop valves for my main water line. Is it recommended to replace them with ball valves? Must ball valves be fully opened or full closed? Can I turn it like halfway to control the amount of water coming thru like stop valves? Thank you in advance

The valve handle snapped off of ours (in the kitchen- for stove) and I need to change it. How do I replace the valve itself with a new one?

I like your bible quote in the background. I have a square gas valve on my gas dyer connector. How do I know when I've turned it off? Thanks!
