- In this video I'll show you how to use your Trezor Model T hardware wallet for use with Ethereum or Ethereum ERC20 tokens.
The Trezor connects via myetherwallet to give you a simple user interface whilst keeping your private keys secured on the device and never revealing them to the computer.

@6:52 Its not a bug. Its shows the amount in W (Wei) which is the smallest denomination for Ethereum. 1 ETH = 10^18 W. Thus 0.098887 ETH = 98887000000000000 W
What about sending and receivinbg from exchages such as Binance

Sir i have few questions 1) can we send ethereum frm exchange like binance: directly to my Trezor model t eth address? 2) if i want to send ERC20 token frm Binance to Trezor will i use the same eth address frm Trezor? 3) Trezor assets list shows XRP: how we will trasfer XRP to TRezor: its not in the device token list when i connect Trezor model t ?
I can’t find a video about how to use the Trezor and other ETH20 tokens (other than ETH). If you know how to do this, can you make a video or offer a clue? Would be most appreciative!

Thanks for such great easy to follow videos, they are a big help for us newbies like me who has just got the Model T! Maybe im a little confused but I am trying to send EOS to my trezor but cant see how? I believe that the Model T now supports EOS? any advice is hugely appreciated! :)

Thanx for yours vids! Back when I used Meta Mask to do the whole EOS trip....the public and private keys. I do see I have the EOS tokens and yet can't find and tutorials regarding how to get the tokens back to an EOS wallet. The people at EOS don't help this issue. Any clues? Thanx
Lee, great videos as usual. I was waiting for this to buy a good hardware wallet but I can’t find it in their website! Should I trust Amazon? And do you advise the Trezor T or the Nano S? Which one is better, easier and supports wider range of coins? Would love to see a comparison video between the two when you have time mate! One of the things that keep letting me down is having to use the Chrome web browser extension, that’s lame. Thanks again 👍

Thanks for watching. Before the Model T I would of easily recommended the Ledger Nano S and infact I purchase some more of them before I got the new Trezor. With the new Ledger update you can use many more wallets on the nano s compared to previous so its really easy to use and I have got confidence in the product.
I've not used the Trezor Model T as much but it seems to be a good solid design and the wallet UI is easy to use. Not much between to the two devices, honestly either would be a good purchase.
I'd always recommend buying directly from the manufacturers website, normally I have links in the description. Always generate your own fresh seed recovery phrase for any hardware device. Never use a pre - written recovery seed phrase.

Maybe no one will see this, but, after I transfer altcoins to Trezor, why can't I see them in a protfolio? Do I just rely on the etherscan information to know they are there?
As there are so many erc-20 coin Ethereum the wallet might not track them all. You can confirm that they're in your wallet by using Etherscan.

Hi Lee, Just got my Trezor T and watching your vids on setup and this one on the Eth wallet. I have some ETH in Exodus wallet how do i get them into my MyEtherwallet to transfer them into my trezor? There does not seem to be a receive option in Myetherwallet?

When you login / access your wallet on myetherwallet using a password or by plugging in a HW wallet like the Trezor your Ethereum address is shown in the top right hand side. Send a small transaction to confirm before sending the full amount just to confirm you've got everything right.

How do you back up your tokens if they are in metamask with this device....been messing with it, but I don't want to loose anything. Any help would be great....thanks....love the videos
I not would recommend backing up per say (you should have a separate metamask backup seed phrase), but instead sending the tokens to your Trezor Ethereum wallet address.
You can then manage them using the myetherwallet website interface whilst keeping the tokens secured on the Trezor.
Test with a small token transaction first before moving a larger amount.
So I would set the trezor up, by picking a ehtherum address...like you did in the video....and send all my tokens(from my metamask accounts) to that address....is that correct? Thanks for your help
Yes thats correct. But do a small test transaction first, just to confirm everything is correct and you can access your tokens once they are moved to the Trezor.

I've been watching your videos and I love them. However, I am wondering what you're doing now, since the massive drop in the crypto market. Your advice is much appreciated.
I sold off a good chunk of my coins through late 2017, everything I hold currently is considered very long term holdings.
Its difficult for me to advise as every person and portfolio is different and I'm no expert.
The crypto market is very volatile and I've seen these types of movements quite a few times over the years, its awful when you have to endure it but once you've been through it before it becomes a little easier.
Consider the coins that your holding, are they solid longterm projects? Do you believe that they are good project, regardless of the current market? Why did you buy them in the first place?
Many projects have great potential and are priced well for buying, however some coins are heading towards their real value (zero).
My best advice is really for the future. That is when your coins are high sell a little, when they are low buy a little. Do this over the longterm and you'll get a good average and be much less effected by the swings of the market.

Very poor job on this video, you answered NONE of my questions in trying to buy ETH for the first time! Trezor's interface is stupidly complicated and I'm frustrated as hell.
This video is not about buying ETH for the first time! Its about keeping your ETH & tokens safe on a hardware wallet.
If you want to buy Ethereum quickly & easily then I would strongly recommend using Coinbase.com
