Set it up right and you wont get birds nest. Kinda like a gun it cant go off without a person behind it. Don't blame the rod/reel cause you don't know how to cast. I have 4 of these and had a couple birds nest but they were my fault.
Complete garbage. Had to replace my for rod and reel since the breaker didn't work. Then the second one broke while I was catching a fish. Would not reel in any line.
this is a great rod and reel I caught a 2 pound bass and it pulled it in pretty well

Note that if you over spool the reel then you will get birds and it will never come out because it gets stuck in the sides of the reel.

yea the bird nest is all you turn down the brake setting
I have the same one and it works great the birds nest is your fault that means you suck at casting

If you learn how to adjust it CORRECTLY you won't get a bird's nest. If your a fisherman you should know that you dumbass
