I think what we all truly wanna see is a storm surge with Lord Stanley in the air. Something special happens when a bunch of talented players come together and have this much fun being around each other.
If they do win Lord Stanley, they'll probably clinch on the road, so they'll have to put together some kind of ceremony so they can do a storm surge with the Stanley Cup on home ice. Maybe at their next home opener.
As a Hartford Whalers fan up in the north before, thanks for paying respect and honor to the Whalers. I'm grateful the Whale found a good home with good people to care for it. I cheer for you.
Was there for all of them..... was so great to see the crowds build back up. Back in the years leading up to the Cup win we were considered the toughest barn to play an away game in..... Here we are in 2022... and we are back to that point again. In 2022 Freddie Anderson's parents were amazed at how loud this place gets compared to much bigger arenas...... Kudos to our new owner.... Rod the bod...... and the players..... SOUTHERN hockey is back in NC. This time around we have much more hockey educated fan base.........

The storm surge is a great addition and is a great refreshing especially with a underdog team like this. Also nice to see how much they grew over this past season.
