A spaceship from Potato World crashes onto an alien planet. The sole survivor: Brotato, the only potato capable of handling 6 weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his mates, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.

Something that might be fun is a Tank build, with a focus on Armor, Max HP, and Heavy Weapons while avoiding move speed upgrades. Just power through as many enemies as possible like an actual tank. Bonus points for using rocket launchers and miniguns.

I think it would be even more appropriate using chunky XD
It works well with Primitive boy and Masochist boy. Even building stupid amounts of armor and Hp last waves are brutal and need some form of sustain and damage.

Heavy weapons on Loud works very well, start with cactus club. I did a run with it that ended up with 3 miniguns and 3 purple cactus clubs. Was a cakewalk.

Go for broke build:
You HAVE to buy every item from the shop before rerolling, you can't lock, you can't reroll level-ups, you can't exit the shop with having money to spend.
If you can't buy a weapon cause you don't have free slots you HAVE to discard a weapon and pick it up instead.
Try to make the most all-encompassing build.

I was testing masochist over last week and came up with solid build. I'd like you to give it a try.
1. Start with Rock. Aim for 4 blunt weapons and 2 fast dps weapons. I was using SMG's (shotguns may work too. However I haven't tested them properly yet)
2. Most important stats are (in order) Armor > HP Regen > Max HP
3. Stats that aren't that important, but are very welcome (in my opinion). Range > Atk Speed > Luck (for more fruits) > Lifesteal
4. Make sure your speed is at least few percent over zero. You won't suffer much from lack of speed in the early waves, however in the last few you need to be able to outrun enemies. Otherwise you won't have time to heal and die
I ended final wave with +520% damage and enough HP and armor I didn't had to worry at all about dying until last few seconds
It was bugged for me and the extra attack damage didnt apply on the weapons
I don't think you even need anything other then rocks. Got the same 520% on the last wave, 116hp, 22 armor. My regen was pretty bad at 15, so I had to hide in the corner for the end of the wave, but it was still pretty comfortable. Each purple rock gives +1 armor and 6 blunt weapons give +3 armor I think. So it maybe better to just have 6 of them.
@@дигл_лайв I decided to ditch 2 rocks for 2 reasons.
I wanted something fast that could deal with later waves with minimal investment in (flat) ranged damage. In my head rocks were for early game and extra tankiness for the rest of the run.
Another reason was that speed debuff felt too severe with 6 blunt weapons.
To be fair. 6 rocks are still very viable. However investment in speed, range and attack speed is a must.
If you take damage once while having negative regen, the regen will start, as if you'd have positive. But every 5 sec you loose your negative value. Makes it pretty interesting to have a drawback to having negative regen :P

@@claraginjas atleast it's my estimated guess from a few runs with it happening. If it's intended or a bug, I have no idea ^^ (the part with surviving below 0 hp is probably a bug though)
Regaring the negative regen, did some testing, when I got to -5 regen (had 50hp, if that might matter I don't know yet) and took a hit I started to "regen" with -5 every 5 seconds.
Had the luck to try it incrementally from -1 to -5, and it was at a first of -5 hp regen I started to degen.
Seems like more of a bug since it doesn’t happen until -5 and until you take a hit. Although some of the negative stats definitely do stuff like negative harvesting. I think I’d be better not to have negative regen. Seems like a nice mechanic to not care about certain stats like going extremely negative in dodging.
@@kamdenbrothers8089 The thing is, even with negative regen the hunting trophy crit build is totally broken, as seen in the video. Removing negative regen entirely will just buff it even more, as the negative regen is the drawback of the hunting trophy. I think that negative regen is needed and hunting trophy should probably reduce regen even more to make it more of a drawback.
There should be a mode that works like an endless wave that consistently gets harder as time goes on.
You should be able to choose all your weapons and perks at the beginning.
What a great idea! Although I feel it would be stronger if you got the perks and upgrades as you collected them

After doing multiple runs, i find the gunner crit build being the strongest/ most consistent build.
Just grab double material if kill mobs with crit and you're on to road of winning easily.

That “game is trying to kill you” was because you had high negative health regen. But you overwhelmed the DoT with your shenanigans.
Electrocutioner. Elemental damage and electric shiv only. Your bounces are insane crowd control.
When you picked the "gentle alien", more enemies comes to hunt you down
Is there a bounty on the alien or he's spying on you and sold your location ?
It's more of an Amber Alert, and the aliens are vigilantes hunting you down for taking a child
Ok, gotta propose something different, because I suck too much, to make it work, but I know you can (probably)
"Run, Forrest, run" run. A Dumb potato with focus on speed, to facilitate getting all them extra materials. I was trying this build in so many different ways - sticks, crit stones (a bit anti-synergistic, bc of blunt weapons passive), shotguns and SMGs and Heavy weapons to lighten this penatly to %damage we get from Dumb Potato passive.
Every time I get destroyed around wave 10/11. And I know it's just because, I'm old and have boomer reflex xD But I bet you can do it! Avange me, Reto senpai!
So for the build: speed and luck focus and focus on one particular weapon group. For extra flavour - must take Wisdom, if ever offered, for the ultimate Run, Forrest, run run.
Also: I found a very funny shop interaction, never seen you talk about it or use it - if you have 1 or 2 items in the shop and you lock and reroll it will only reroll the one missing item! Idk, if it's useful or not, but I thought I'd share it.
I’d love to see a build that focuses on attack speed, or a build where you only pickup stuff that increases your speed, whether it be attack or regular speed

The Shotgun Ricochet Mutant with high LUCK and flat ranged DMG is OP
Negative life regen does actually hurt you after -5, it just doesn't activate until you take your first point of damage. Also, I got scared at the end when you got your damage percent to -88%. One more ricochet and you would have actually killed your build.
He did have the wisdom so it would’ve gone back up but the first 10 seconds would’ve probably been super harsh

My runs aren't anythign like yours. Your item rolls are amazing.
Would be nice if the item list was done a bit differently. If the icon for each item you have is only shown once, with each icon having a number on it for how many times you've picked up that item.
Guess what
I think the thing you had was a bug with negative hp regen that is larger than the current hp but smaller than max hp. The game tried to heal you by one tick and doing so dropped your health to negative values, causing the regen to keep trying to heal you, adding on the negative value each time. You had 10 seconds to go, so you got to 5 hp from 9 (from a hit) down to -1 down to -7.
Why is there almost 0 content for this game. Seems super underappreciated. I've been playing on my phone for the whole day. The mobile version is the exact same as the pc version and plays exactly the same. Highly recommend
I'm sort of amazed that this series is doing so much better than project zomboid.
Id like to see an additional option on the main menu, for item randomization. Theres like 20-30 weapons, and 40-50 items, many of which you dont want to see at all on a run. So an the option to disable certain items from showing up, and lets say, every clear on D5 is 1 point to ban an unwanted item from a run.

I just got my first win yesterday following your loud build video but instead of all cactus, i used 3 cactus and 3 shotgun it was awesome. Also does anyone else noticed the burning fist in this run?
You were losing health because when you have negative regen you lose health instead of gain, but only after the first time you take damage. Negative armor makes you take more damage, negative speed makes you slower, negative luck makes less things drop. I believe most things work in the negative but I haven't tested.
That lightning shiv run was really broken! I wish there was some way you can utilize the money left at the end of wave 12.
The character is just busted, i just won my first run ever with him without being offered any hunting trophies until the last wave, just a single gentle alien and 5 blue+1 purple shivs. I also didn't take any elemental damage and ended up with 22 hp, 4 leech and 1 armor.

Will give a Very specific run , as HP,Armour , Regen, lifesteal are useless , mindless attack build.
PS - most difficult thing in this run is to get to 1 HP, I managed to win a Game with 4 max HP.

seems negative regen kicks in the *first* time you get hit, which means you just bleed out until the end of the wave, that does *not* sound fun to deal with if your health is poor.

Farming build,
Must pick all the harvest items. It would be cool to start out with hand but I've tried a couple of times and its miserable.
update on pacifist I finally made it to round 12 with 9 seconds left but I had a stun gun and -101% dmg. It actually might work but I'm a bit exhausted with the build. I hope you try and succeed.

since this video....they altered the one or another in the game....red items....20 round...final boss....but was nice to look how it began
The reason why you started loosing hp for no reason is because once you took damage the hp regen started working and since it was negative it was lowering your health

The amount of medal detectors definitely helped with the money

If you want something really busted go with the loud character with blades and at least 2-3 hunting trophies

This build is absurdly strong, so how about a challenge: The goal isn't to win, but to win with as much unspent money as possible. Same build, but you'll have to spend your money carefully to survive Wave 12 with your score intact. Give it a try, there's a surprising amount of strategy involved!

when you take damage the first time, you trigger your -regen so you end up taking 12dmg every tick :)

full smg attack speed crit build is easiest since you can just stand in middle and dont need to move even on wave 12
Id like to see a vampire build. Speed, life steal, any monster parts or mutation parts, dodge up, and mabye monsterlike start with no guns.

Seem like once you get hit the negative HP reg kicked in. Hit for 7-8 per tick.
It does look like HP regen kicks in once you are missing health. So negative hp regen only hurts if you are hurt.
Day 3 of asking for a one hit wonder build. not going for attack speed, but all in on damage. Bazooka might be a wise weapon choice
Most I got was a 49 damage per bullet minigun no crit as loud

About the random health loss... I wonder if you got enough of the living booger items that gives you "-1 HP recovered from consumables" if you would actually start losing health from picking up health drops?

I think by looking at it, that it pierces first then bounces off of the next enemy.
the easiest build ive done is loud with subs, crit, attack speed, hp and armor. I won round 12 just standing still
Negative hp regen is a thing. Same with negative armor and life steal even damage. The stats can hurt alot if you go to low. Take your last run. You was down to -58% damage. If you took another bounce or 2. You would have done 0 damage

What if there was a Money is Power item that made every material +.01 damage?
(Example: 255 material with 4 damage would make it a total of 6.5 damage)
You had -12 HP Regeneration. That's the reason you lost HP from time to time.

my best build was the same i got over 600 hp had over 1k % dmg and just had a great time my run will probably never happen again i got 3 trophies after the first lvl and like 6 or 7 after the second round legit broke the game .i think i still have the picture after i won :D

well I got my shiv run but the teaser run should happen. does anyone know if u can combine weapons higher than purple cause I've seen gold items but it was only 1 time

100% dodge isn't possible. It caps at 70.
Shiv is stronger :). As I say Bladetato + shiv = THORTATO. It's like Taser Mage... wonky but funny. I hope hunting trophy will be capped at 1 or 2 max thou.
