really solid cover, i feel like the violin doesn't have as much explosive power or uplift as in the original though. still waiting on yamaoka to drop the full track that was shown in the trailer for the game

A part of me really wants Silent Hill to come back. But it's a fool errand. Silent Hill.. especially Silent Hill 2 is so far beyond the current Konami. The franchise is dead. Sad as that is. It's the way it's meant to be. Nobody can take up the seat again. Only pretenders. But the soul will live on.. in a way... through fans, games, books and music inspired by them.. And hopefully some proper remasters one day.
Oh, i understand. Silent Hill 2 was a masterpiece, the entire franchise is unique , even if the last chapters were a mess. Silent hill in these days could not be such an incredible game like in the past. By the way we all hope to a new chapter, because we are so nostalgic haha
yeah i wondered what happened as i was expecting another movie and there was a game that was in the making for ps4 that suddenly stopped. it's like the team had a fall out or something, not sure but i see akira yamaoka still plays the music live with his silent hill band, which is good 👍 silent hill was different to anything i have ever played for the atmosphere and music, the creepiness stays with you lol
I fully disagree. Resident Evil was pretty much dead but then they revived it with 7 and village. Silent Hill's source material is MUCH easier to work with then Resident Evils so yeah, I fully believe if they gave it to a passionate a competent dev team they could totally bring back the series.

Yeah, some sections of that solo are great! Unfortunately , the online tracks available with the solo are in poor audio quality, and It Is difficult to trascribe the notes correctly.

Great attempt but frankly there is nothing that matches the exact tuning and fluidity of Yamaoka's composition. The guy was just too beautiful with his performance.

Most of the classic games on PC are now abandonware so at least you can play them for free now.
