Spent most of my childhood Granville beach, Chatham beach, Forest Beadh, Galfa, Manmohansingh Park, Point Coco etc. Granville was always the best to play cricket as the sand was wide however the shoreline seems to have changed a lot
Yup, but this was filmed during high tide, in low tide you could still knock some cricket…but a good bit of things would have changed from your childhood days

That’s my grand parents house shop n bar (now closed) lots of history and memories!!! Great grand dad used to go town place order for goods and the boat used to bring it down there in the evening and he used to use his donkey cart and collect the goods

The southern beaches are eroding badly, not only due to global warming but has accelerated by the LNG project in point which has affected the currents. If you go icacos it's worse. Keep highlighting the litter people leave on the beaches among other places. Better they put Cepep to maintain these areas.
Agreed and once that highway project is completed as well , will definitely keep highlighting the rubbish peeps does leave, hopefully on future we will learn to take better care of our environment
I do pray that Tnt crime and economy can make a turn over and living abroad and hearing what tourist like Tnt has so much more to offer.... Tourism can become a revenue if it’s done rite way

Lol, noted…I’m a graduated surveyor, so the cardinal points is part of my language but so is the local flare…that being said, I’m still working on a clearly spoken balance 😁 and I welcome criticism, only way I can measure improvements

@@TrinbagoVibes my parents drove me and my brothers one easter to cedros from barataria. we left barataria at 1pm. didnt get to cedros untill 5pm. once we arrived as kids we only had enough time to have something to eat watch the 6pm news then get our backsides to bed. as boys we thought the journey would never end however that was back in 1977
It would of been more welcoming if you had experienced low tide .... Grandville is or I should say one of the more famous for excursion beaches in south....

dont underestimate trinidad. yes it is a small island but isnt that small that you can go around it in a day. i lived in trinidad for nine years and in all that time i never ever went to that beach which is all the way on the south coast and i lived in barataria which is in the north of the island. the drive is very long i can assure you of that. to be honest it is not really a very nice beach. the only beach to the south that is worth going to in my opinion is cedros, spent two easter weekends down there and it took us all day to drive there. cedros is the only decent beach down south. best beaches to the north facing caribbean sea. maracas bay,tyrico bay and las cuevas bay i call them the holy trinity of beaches.
partner lets be honest its not really a nice beach. the only decent beach down south is cedros and cedros in my opinion is just ok nothing great. all the best beaches up north coast facing the caribbean sea. the reason also why its so rough down there is not because of high tide but because of THE ORINOCO RIVER in venezuela. when that river have plenty rainfall and it come down to the sea opposite trinidad it does cause rip tides and dangerous currents to trinidad.that river is no caroni river it is so wide you cannot see the opposite side of the river from one side.

Use to fish there a few years ago, the coastal erosion has gotten worst. When the tide goes out there is alot of shore before it come back in by 5pm

Sometimes when you spend some hours in traffic, everything becomes far
