I got into an argument with someone a little while back who said the rich had every right to make as much money as they wanted to. I told them that they don't have a right to violate our rights to make their profits.

@@irenadubrovna1339 shareholders as “owners” is what’s wrong-remember the business roundtable in August 2019 when 200 American CEO’s redefined the purpose of a corporation in their document, “Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation.”
They preached to the public their reimagined idea of a corporation which dropped the age-old notion that corporations function first and foremost to serve their shareholders and maximize profits. Rather, investing in employees, delivering value to customers, dealing ethically with suppliers and supporting outside communities were now at the forefront of American business goals.
      Not looking good so far..

I'd like to thank my economics professor from Florida Atlantic University as I am able to finish his sentences. This isn't advanced economics. It's common sense. And unfortunately, many of our political leaders don't have common sense.

We are already experiencing the effects of fascism. It is just that nobody wants to publically acknowledged it yet but a few are starting to do so. 1. High levels of militarization and police state organizations/agencies. DHS, CIA, FBI, DEA, a 602 billion annual military budget, etc. 2. High levels of taxation and regulation or state controls/ownership of private property and business (means of production) or a combination of the two. The result being that you have a very high level of redistribution of wealth programs.

    Welcome to Mercantilism 2.0.
All national economies have adapted a new form of mercantilism. And under mercantilism you have a rather faint economic growth among at least 80%, and a tremendous gains of the top 20% more so at the top 5%.
Once mercantilism matures over the long run, even the top earners start cannibalizing themselves since growth becomes vicious deflationary economy.

World War II, not the new "DEAL" stimulated the economy and created jobs. California's economy grew because of the extraordinary amount of military contracts it received.

    *WHY ARE DEMOCRATS ANGRY?*
Democrats are angry about the fact that politicians have become so dependent on corporations for campaign donations that the politicians are working for the corporations and not for all the people as the Founding Fathers of the United States intended:
"Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of all the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men." ~John Adams, Founding Father
As a matter of fact, although Government is instituted for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of all the people, Republicans accuse Democrats and the working class of Socialism whenever Democrats attempt to exercise the institution of Government to benefit the working class and low income Americans.

In this country, you can make a lot more money if youre willing to make yourself uncomfortable.
But I love the super rich guy who tells us how what he invests in doesnt do anything helpful with the money..the funds he invests in.
Well Mr Democrat Sir...why do you invest your money there? You dont have to. Youre incredibly rich.
You bought one top of the line Audi...youd rather eat Pho than a $500 meal...spend your money to help people!!
You can still get a return!
But no, youd rather invest in funds cos its easy. And the returns are predictable.
And this is the Rich democrat they put on here?
The one that agrees that he invests in bs? Cool
