the usa should have a system like germany for their football matches because the prices for tickets is limited, they dont allow prices to just keep accelerating they cap it out at a certain amount. The uk also has £30 price caps on away tickets, although some matches can be insanely priced still.
I was at the stadium 2 weeks ago. Transport to and from, Standing Ticket, 4 beers = 36€ Our tickets work additionally as public transport ticket for the day in a "Bundesland" (state) radius so you can actually get to and from the game.
These ticket prices are bad but it's also good, the amount of money that gets pumped into these teams is insane. When Messi plays in their stadium these teams make over ten million dollars what is insane. With more money the MLS can pay the players more, gives people an incentive to join the league and will make the league better. I think it's a positive. There is some sort of marketing strategy aside from sporting strategy aimed at cementing his legacy. He has been doing this a long time in the best arenas and tourneys of football. It is a shame the US is just a bit late in discovering and appreciating this man. I guess it is better late than never. But he will definitely retire as the GOAT.
