Thank you.I no longer own any copies of this NOVA that I wrote, produced and directed.. Getting to know "Fred" Skinner was a memorable experience! He was entirely cooperative and a pleasure to work with. I was so pleased to locate this TH-cam- the last version of the doc. in captivity!

I find it very interesting you were involved in such a project. Well more like fascinating. It took me 20 hours to edit a two hour film down to 8 minutes. I swell remastered the audio. The time it took shaving seconds off both the video and audio track to match it was fun for me, like a puzzle. But if done right the work put into it should go unnoticed. Quite a thing if you do the thing with a degree of skill your work should be not tended to be credited proportional to the effort excerpted. It’s cool you had a career in what had to be a labor of love. I got a million questions I’d like to ask but I’ll save u the hassle, guess I should find out myself. Any how great work, have a great day.

I am very sad that most of people did not know how much this great scientist help to make the life better. No body knows that this scientist developed the main Framework for a great educational approach named as ABA which helped children with ASD to have better life and support families to deal with autism challenges. Skinner was and will be one of the great scientists in the history of the world. Rest in peace B.F.Skinner

As usual, the most visionary and clear thinking people, BF Skinner too was ignored by the dominant culture. Yet he inspired many - included the SKINNER BOX drum-machine for electronic musicians (the same baby in a box theory)

6:35 oh man !! Anyone else remember the "System 50" machines ?
We had one in grade school. This would have been like 1976-79.
I remember that noise of inserting the cartridge.
The kids would all fight and jockey to use it, but then after you'd sat
in front of it for literally 2 minutes, you're like "get me out of here."

It's changed a lot since this film was made but Twin Oaks is still a very nice place to live. I am grateful for this documentary and it's recovery. What is arguably still underappreciated in this documentary is egalitarianism and holding goods in common. This is such a radical difference from the dominant culture, and so relevant to ecological solutions to the inequities in the world, that any successes in this direction deserve great respect. It was noted but not put in the context of hopes for broader social transformations.

I have to say this; my first real memory was sitting on a lap and crying because I could tell that it wasn’t my father. Years later I was told that the man who’s lap I had sat on and cried, was B. F. Skinner and it was caught on tape. If you watch closely you should be able to see the moment where I realized that it wasn’t Will (the guy who was hanging diapers on the wash line)

there is no need for escape extinction at TO. Walden Two inspired me to degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (BS) at UNT. And I got to Twin Oaks via Acorn. Kat Kincaide is absent here.

I do disagree with skinner on the parent/meta conversation. Having a wide range of caring adults rather than the consistent love of the same adults does not equate. Having moved around much and had different (very caring and loving) guardians throughout my childhood, the bond ends up feeling more superficial as you never get to truly develop a relationship with a single caregiver.

Walden II is working as long as population number is in optimum level with the environment and other conditions, human find it difficult to control number of birth by instinct along, they have to overcome the instinct with reason for population number control. Therefore, accoding to B. F. Skinner, a environment for people srrounding REASON is the key to humanity prosperity.

How can you know its not enjoying these things?
In the same ways a pigeon learns different behaviors in the wild to get the consequences it desires, the pigeon does the same here. As long as there is no punishment involved, I don't see any problem.
