@@onyx_gabriel no some controllable AI are kinda targeting mechanic system when their are aiming at the enemy but I think the ranger will back up due the enemy are close enough
Yeah, I never quite like how flashbangs were implemented. Less than Lethal as extremely lethal? Shame there wasn't a surrender and prisoner mechanic. That would have made the POW camp more interesting.
The ranger fires a 3-round burst of weak shots, but the fire rate (between bursts) is slow and it has a shorter range than the red guard. In a 1v1, a red guard will barely win against a ranger. Separately, the ranger also (barely) loses in a 1v1 against the GLA rebel because the rebel's shots do slightly more damage than the ranger's. The reason each Ranger costs 225 vs the Red Guard at 150 (each) is the Ranger also gets the flash-bang, which is excellent against infantry groups and Super OP against garrisons.
Rangers have 180 armor and deal 5 damage x3. Red Guard have 120 armor and deal 15 damage x1. Rebels have 120 armor and deal 5 damage x3. So I believe it's the Horde Bonus that made the difference here.
