Yes, the weather can be so unpredictable there 😂 We headed back to Mt Cook the following day to check out some of the other hikes but it was raining very heavily 😂😂
We were there from the 26th to the 28th of June! There was plenty of snow on the ground which made the place really beautiful but we didn't get a chance to see it snowing 😂😂😂
Hey bro you would absolutely love Switzerland went there about 5yrs ago the only thing that sets new zealand apart from switzerland are the beaches, Switzerland is landlocked and has none, and the language barrier can be frustrating so yeah I would pick NZ aswell
@@johnpaki1534 Yes!! Both Switzerland and NZ are incredible in their own right; Switzerland has the Matterhorn and plenty of charming towns with beautifully preserved architecture. We were there for a short while several years back and really enjoyed it!! 😁

We wanted to go stargazing at Lake Tekapo, specifically because of the Dark Sky Reserve, but the weather was bad and we weren't able to go 🥹🥲

We took about 3 hours in and 2 hours out! The path was rather flat and manageable but the ice and snow on the floor slowed us down quite abit 😂
