The GAZ (Volga) 24. A pity they were never marketed in the UK. Nice combination of Soviet/US styling. Probably got one if they had been UK marketed. Certainly better chance of checking them out properly. USSRs answer to the Merc.

A bit unfair as far as the portrayal of the cars goes. Typical common cars such as Zhigulis were not that bad. Not fast, minimal accessories, but they were (and still are) reasonably reliable.
