She never broke character til she finished her set, grimey yet seductive. I felt her presence through the damn screen. And her facial expressions, loved it!!
I only saw her in dance vids before so I got caught off-guard by that tbh. She's always fierce when dancing I never expected her to be like that hahaha
Parris is such a cutie if she's not dancing, but if she dances she transforms into another person and I can actually feel her presence right here... #QUEEN
8 years later & I'm STILL coming back to this, Parris is literally one of the best if not, THE BEST dancer in the world alive right now. Since this video, she's gone on to choreograph for J. Lo, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo & I'm sure she's still riding on that high from choreographong Rihanna's SUPERBOWL performance! A legend working w. legends, I'm so proud of her ❤️
I feel like when you see Parris dancing and when you see the first group it is not even the same choreography, she alone annihilated all of them ! X.x ♥
WwaAAaaawwwwwwwwwwqwwwwqwwwqwwqqqqwwwwwwwwwwwwqwswwwwwaqqwwwwwwsdfdz de fe zzxzsxszzz❤❤❤qqzZzzAZ❤❤❤❤😘😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕😂😂😂😂😍😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😁😍😍😍😍😁😁😁😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😁😁😍😍😄😄😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😄😄😄
Seeing what she has turned out to be now is so great. Fell in love with her energy then and still following her on IG. Paris is something else. She is everywhere now. Best in the world now
So much respect. I'm a new zealander myself. I've watched urban dance camp videos for years on end now. Seeing Paris come on to the scene is just such an inspiration. I've watched so many choreographers in my time and despite being bias by all means, she still kills it. With her own flavor that she brings.
I love how she was all sassy, confident and all when she was dancing and right after she get out of it she became a super shy and cute haha that’s the power of dance🙏
That absolute confidence she has at the end both inspired me and brought a tear to my eye!!! I love to see passion in dance it really comes from within! #getitgurl
+Christine Chew If you have zero hip hop experience I really don't recommend it. I've been dancing for 5 years and found it hard to keep up. A lot of the dancers that take these classes have the basic HipHop skills down or are dance teachers themselves. I personally would recommend going to local dance classes near you and joining this camp after you feel comfortable with some of the HipHop basics. I find that way this dance camp is a lot more beneficial.
Kie Jk You don't necessarily need hip hop music to dance hip hop... i know that may sound a little bit controversial, but i've seen some amazing hip hop routines done to music which isn't commonly labeled as "hip hop" music. Apart from that I feel like your comment is somewhat out of context here.
whoever records these, seriously aside from the stunning choreo, makes this my favorite thing to watch. it really captures the every move of the dancers and follows them so well without taking away from the movements...perfect.
tbh... the piece was really simple she damn near does the same dance move for a full 8 count. She distracts you with staging, transitions, and giving great face. She's a great performer.
Y u so mean?!?u smashed that...when u dance u r like "yaaassss I own ths stage" but after that u r so humble&seem so shy..I love genuine, sincere ppl..love u!
Tell you what watching Parris dance is insane as soon as she begins dancing she becomes a whole new being she’s like a machine she really has no limits
I LOOOOOOVE PARIS GOBEL FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW HER DANCE AND WHEN SHE COMPETED WIT THE ROYAL Family This is definitely my favorite choreography from her Can't wait to see if she's coming thru in 24
I am sure all Jamaicans would agree with me that they (the dancers in this video) have taken on dancehall moves and did it justice. The dancers have copied the dancehall moves and copied it to the T. I am impressed. I approve.
+jamdawgutube the technicality and feeling of what we (Jamaicans) do is a bit different from this. But its interesting to see dancehall music and dance on the world stage being done by accomplished dancers and choreographers.
+SHADYSQUAD Totally agree with you right there. But then it is hip hop with dancehall so its gonna have that american swag as opposed to a dancehall swag.
There's been something about Parris that I haven't been able to articulate for a while, but I'm going to try. I love how she is not a size zero hourglass figure, but you cannot see her dancing and deny she's got a powerful, feminine, attractive energy about her. She doesn't try to minimize herself in her movements or only emphasise things that are acceptable features. She takes up all that space on the dance floor with her energy and movements and body, and it's glorious. She looks confident and daring, and moves without a trace of fear from what I can see. She's got mastery over her body and she's doing what she loves, and is impressive and gorgeous and expressive while doing so. I love her dance style and persona, it's so engaging I couldn't look away to write this I had to finally stop the video even though I've seen it a hundred times.
You can tell the contrast between the dancers in the beginning & Parris Goebel's solo after it...Parris Goebel totally killed it,you can tell she really feels & knows the music, that its expressing right out of her contagiously than the dancers in the beginning who didn't bring that same energy & kind of comes off dancing as 1,2 step by step...
Omg she's just incredible. At that age too! I love how far she's come in her career since. I take my hat off to you Parris Goebel. Love from the UK xx ❤️💃🏻
The body control that she has is insane

Seductive???? 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly!
Parris' smile at the end was so genuine and lovely you could feel it
I only saw her in dance vids before so I got caught off-guard by that tbh. She's always fierce when dancing I never expected her to be like that hahaha
She's exactly my body type, and that gives me confidence, I don't need to be skinny to feel sexy and and beautiful

I love how fierce Parris is when she's dancing and how it contrasts with how humble she is when she's done! Such an excellent performer!
I feel like when you see Parris dancing and when you see the first group it is not even the same choreography, she alone annihilated all of them ! X.x ♥
WAIT THEY ALL DID HER ROUTINE FIRST?
She has so much control of her body... That's insane

Can i join? I have zero hip hop experience~~
+Christine Chew If you have zero hip hop experience I really don't recommend it. I've been dancing for 5 years and found it hard to keep up. I personally would recommend going to local dance classes near you and joining this camp after you feel comfortable with some of the HipHop basics. I find that way this dance camp is a lot more beneficial.
+Christine Chew no.. as it is. the camp recommends that you be at intermediate level and above. and these are advanced dancers you are watching.
