@@mannyfragoza9652 Something like this would work well for each panel (15 amps). If you were fusing the entire array, you'd want to go with something larger. amzn.to/3n1a8Ne
Very useful. Getting into solar generators for the first time is like being thrown into the deep end of the pool. Especially for someone like me who had to make a quick buying decisions after multiple extended outages in a short period of time where dealing with a gas generator became very difficult. Some topics that I'd like to see covered for the new solar generator buyer: 1) Differences in battery types / technologies. When I made my purchase I didn't even know what options existed. All I knew was alkaline batteries in my flashlights, lithium in my phone and laptop, and SLABs in my computer UPS. Knowing what I know now, I would have looked for a LiFePO 4 unit. 2) Differences in Peak capacity and runtime capacity, also touching on efficiency ratings and how it effects those numbers. Another thing when deciding on how much capacity someone will need is the watt rating of something like a microwave vs the actual power consumption - most people don't think that their 1,100 watt microwave might need to draw 1,500 watts so they end up underpowered. 3) For those of us without solar power, (especially new users) AC charging matters but it's something new users don't think about. Having to keep track of the power brick for my geneverse unit is another frustration I really don't need, but didn't even know I'd care about down the line. If you could wrap all these things into a "before you buy your first solar generator" video I think it could help a lot of people out. Most people are probably like me and only think about buying a solar gen after something goes wrong, so they feel like they have to make a buying decision fast before something goes wrong again.
I spent 36 years in conventional defense shipboard electronics systems and I find the theories easy to understand but the application is new. Well done videos. I’m subscribing.

Then, when he recovered, he said, “Glory be to you, I repent to you, and I am the first of the believers.” 144 He said, “O Moses, I have chosen you over all people for My messages and for My Words. So take what I have given you, and be one of the thankful 145 And We inscribed for him in the Tablets all kinds of enlightenments, and decisive explanation of all things. “Hold fast to them, and exhort your people to adopt the best of them. So worship Him, and persevere in His service. Do you know of anyone equal to Him? 111 And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.” 85 Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers. Read The Quran “I am to you a clear warner.” “That you shall worship none but God. I fear for you the agony of a painful Day.”
As always, you are the best content provider on TH-cam. Clear, concise, informative, to the point. Never wasting people's time with BS, and irrelevant garbage. Thank you so very much.
I must state you've done an excellent job educating and cautioning about the dangers that could occur when using series or parallel outputs, as well as educating clear discrepancies in series and parallel power outputs to prevent fogged minds from confusing the two. Fantastic !
For solar generators if a max panel input voltage is 60vdc, can you use a panel with a higher open circuit voltage but the closed circuit voltage meets the spec?
@@jeffp9889 unfortunately not, anytime the voltage goes over the max voltage of the power station you risk damaging the internal components. That includes both the VOC and voltage max power numbers.

This is one of the things that people struggle with when installing panels. But the easiest way put, is that in series is the best convenient option. But you are limited by the maximum voltage that your controller can process.
This man speaks with respect, professionalizm and encouragement for those who are new in solar panel field. Therefore I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him. There is one jacka.s guy who has many videos but he talks if all other people were dumb. He intentionally speaks faster and fast forwards his video while showing some basic math and he thinks he is a genius. When I addressed that he responded I do not understand what the word joke means. What a .... Again thank you for great explanation!
This was an excellent video. Thank you. Explained very well the pro's and con's of series vs parallel, including need for thicker wiring, fuses, etc. Also the effects of shading etc on each system.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the alternative being the combined series and parallel where as prior to watching this I was set on the series configuration. Not realizing that any shade would hamper the output dramatically. You also explained things so simply in an easy to understand fashion. Cheers mate, much appreciated. 😎👍

This is the best explanation I’ve seen on youtube, I’ve watched so many videos on this topic and I always felt I was either confuses or missing something. After this video I don’t need to watch one more content on this. Great job @jasonoid! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge so simply and clearly
1 In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. 2 Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. 3 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 4 Master of the Day of Judgment. 5 It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help. 6 Guide us to the straight path. 7 The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided. 2 God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. He is the Sublime, the Magnificent. Originator of the heavens and the earth. He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs of animals, by means of which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing. 3 He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel. 4 Aforetime, as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge. 5 Nothing is hidden from God, on earth or in the heaven. 6 It is He who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god except He, the Almighty, the Wise. 1 Say, “He is God, the One. 2 God, the Absolute. 3 He begets not, nor was He begotten. 4 And there is none comparable to Him.” 13 To Him belongs whatever rests in the night and the day. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 14 Say, “Shall I take for myself a protector other than God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds and is not fed?” Say, “I am instructed to be the first of those who submit.” And do not be among the idolaters. 100 Yet they attributed to God partners-the sprites-although He created them. And they invented for Him sons and daughters, without any knowledge. Glory be to Him. He is exalted, beyond what they describe. 101 Originator of the heavens and the earth-how can He have a son when He never had a companion? He created all things, and He has knowledge of all things. 102 Such is God, your Lord. There is no god except He, the Creator of all things; so worship Him. He is responsible for everything. 103 No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Subtle, the Expert. 104 “Insights have come to you from your Lord. Whoever sees, it is to the benefit of his soul; and whoever remains blind, it is to its detriment. I am not a guardian over you.” 143 And when Moses came to Our appointment, and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, allow me to look and see You.” He said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it stays in its place, you will see Me.” But when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He turned it into dust, and Moses fell down unconscious. I will show you the fate of the sinners.” 36 To every community We sent a messenger: “Worship God, and avoid idolatry.” Some of them God guided, while others deserved misguidance. So travel through the earth, and see what the fate of the deniers was. 16 And mention in the Scripture Mary, when she withdrew from her people to an eastern location. 17 She screened herself away from them, and We sent to her Our spirit, and He appeared to her as an immaculate human. 18 She said, “I take refuge from you in the Most Merciful, should you be righteous.” 19 He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.” 20 She said, “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I was never unchaste?” 21 He said, “Thus said your Lord, `It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign for humanity, and a mercy from Us. It is a matter already decided.'“ 22 So she carried him, and secluded herself with him in a remote place. 23 The labor-pains came upon her, by the trunk of a palm-tree. She said, “I wish I had died before this, and been completely forgotten.” 24 Whereupon he called her from beneath her: “Do not worry; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you. 25 And shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards you, and it will drop ripe dates by you.” 26 “So eat, and drink, and be consoled. And if you see any human, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Most Gracious, so I will not speak to any human today.'“ 27 Then she came to her people, carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have done something terrible. 28 O sister of Aaron, your father was not an evil man, and your mother was not a whore.” 29 So she pointed to him. They said, “How can we speak to an infant in the crib?” 30 He said, “I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture, and made me a prophet. 31 And has made me blessed wherever I may be; and has enjoined on me prayer and charity, so long as I live. 32 And kind to my mother, and He did not make me a disobedient rebel. 33 So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive.” 34 That is Jesus son of Mary-the Word of truth about which they doubt. 35 It is not for God to have a child-glory be to Him. To have anything done, He says to it, “Be,” and it becomes. 36 “God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.” 37 But the various factions differed among themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve from the scene of a tremendous Day. 38 Listen to them and watch for them the Day they come to Us. But the wrongdoers today are completely lost. 39 And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded. Yet they are heedless, and they do not believe. 40 It is We who will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and to Us they will be returned. 41 And mention in the Scripture Abraham. He was a man of truth, a prophet. 42 He said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor benefit you in any way? 43 O my father, there has come to me knowledge that never came to you. So follow me, and I will guide you along a straight way. 44 O my father, do not worship the devil. The devil is disobedient to the Most Gracious. 45 O my father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Gracious will afflict you, and you become an ally of the devil.” 46 He said, “Are you renouncing my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will stone you. So leave me alone for a while.” 47 He said, “Peace be upon you. I will ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been Kind to me. 48 And I will withdraw from you, and from what you pray to instead of God. And I will pray to my Lord, and I hope I will not be disappointed in my prayer to my Lord.” 49 When he withdrew from them, and from what they worship besides God, We granted him Isaac and Jacob. And each We made a prophet. 50 And We gave them freely of Our mercy, and gave them a noble reputation of truth. 51 And mention in the Scripture Moses. He was dedicated. He was a messenger and a prophet. 52 And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him near in communion. 53 And We granted him, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, a prophet. 54 And mention in the Scripture Ishmael. He was true to his promise, and was a messenger, a prophet. 55 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and charity, and he was pleasing to his Lord. 56 And mention in the Scripture Enoch. He was a man of truth, a prophet. 57 And We raised him to a high position. 58 These are some of the prophets God has blessed, from the descendants of Adam, and from those We carried with Noah, and from the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from those We guided and selected. Whenever the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they would fall down, prostrating and weeping. 59 But they were succeeded by generations who lost the prayers and followed their appetites. They will meet perdition. 60 Except for those who repent, and believe, and act righteously. These will enter Paradise, and will not be wronged in the least. 61 The Gardens of Eden, promised by the Most Merciful to His servants in the Unseen. His promise will certainly come true. 62 They will hear no nonsense therein, but only peace. Great job of explaining series & parallel installations. Also, I never realized that installing a fuse was optional as long as you don't exceed the short circuit current of the panel.

Is this statement only true given you use the appropriate gauge wiring? Is his explanation he suggests using a wire that is rated for up to 20amps. I am a total newby to this and want to make sure my logic is alinged. Cheers

Awesome video. I have ordered an Anker C1000 and (4) 100W panels to dip my feet into solar power. I'll continue to watch your vids to learn how all this works and to hook everything up correctly. Subcribed. :)
How are you doing? Just wanna tell you that you described things in a way that I understood. I’ve heard plenty of TH-cam videos, explaining the subject and never made sense out of it, the way you explained it (guess what I got it). Thank you very much.👍🏽
Wow!!! This is the video that I’ve been looking for. Very clear and practical tips especially focusing on safety. The diagrams help for new learner like me. Thank you!!!
I've watched a bunch of these..made my own 4 panel set up years ago..want to go major next year..this is the first video I wish didn't end so quickly ! I'm subscribed !
This is a great video. I started out with solar a few years ago and I keep coming back to this video as my systems have grown. Thanks for making this so simple and complete. This video is a great reference. I cannot say thanks enough!
And they will have their provision therein, morning and evening. 63 Such is Paradise which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are devout. 64 “We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. His is what is before us, and what is behind us, and what is between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them.
I have 4 different power stations. Bluetti AC200p has 4 x230 w wired in series, FF Power 2001 has 4x100w wired 2s2p, Okitel P2001 has 2x260 w wired parallel and my FF Power 614 is just a 100 w panel wired straight.
Excellent information. We lost power for weeks from the hurricane and my freezers thawed and i lost all my meats and veggies. I've ordered solar component and am on the learning curve. Thank you very much
Very informative video! It would of made things easier, for me, if you put this out about four years ago! My question for you is, how should we hook up dissimilar panels, such as 2X 325w, + 2X 270w onto the same array? Keep your smiles on!
i am studying solar to make an educated decision on a solar solution for my teardrop camper. found your channel while looking at 12v fridges. i appreciate your clear, concise explanations.
I am glad you talked about the fuses and why, and even a little bit about the gauge of wire that is needed to run to the charge controller. Thank you, I wasn't understanding it before:)

Hey Jason, I wanted to express my gratitude for your incredibly detailed explanation on connecting solar panels in series, parallel, and 2S2P configurations. After revisiting your video multiple times, I've finally grasped the concept. It turns out, my Pecron E2000 and E600 were underperforming due to my lack of understanding. Although I bought some panels based on another recommendation of yours (House Size), they turned out to be too bulky and heavy for my needs. However, I recently scored a fantastic deal on four standard-sized solar Bifacial 100 Watt panels for just $260. I plan to implement the 2S2P configuration you demonstrated, as I have some shading in my backyard. Parallel connection wouldn't provide sufficient voltage, and series connection would be hindered by the shade. So, 2S2P seems like the ideal solution for me. I truly appreciate your guidance, as I hadn't encountered this configuration method before. Your video was immensely helpful, and I can't thank you enough.
Boy you explain things well. I now understand 2 concepts I didn't really get before, thanks for that. Please do a server rack battery system + solar, EG4 with 6500EX inverters, if you did it and explained it then I'd know how to do mine. Cheers
Very good and useful video. I put a few small systems together for a shed, van, and motorhome and discovered that the charge controllers sometimes have low limits on voltage maximums. So, wiring in series and parallel are necessary to stay under the MPPT's maximum allowed input voltage. Their max voltage specs vary all over the map. I bought several rolls of 10 gage wire and a bag of MC-4 terminal connectors to make my own cables. The kit came with special crimpers for the internal metal connectors. The metal ends inside the connectors are different for positive and negative. I'm old school but for the first time in my life I had a total meltdown with endless gender confusion during my first attempt to make my own cables. It just didn't make sense. The male outer MC-4 ends have female connectors inside. Female outer ends have male crimp on connectors inside. A positive cable has both male and female outer ends. the negative cable does as well. Never fear. It all makes sense now after doing about 10 cables. Even with no markings, the male connector on every solar panel is positive. Thank goodness that is all standardized now.
Yes. The genders of MC4 can get confusing because male and female are swappable depending on the direction of the power. I always follow the power from the source and that helps keep things straight. Sometimes I mark the connection with a silver sharpie to be safe.
Thank you. I have 31 panels rated 450 watts, and I cannot use them, all. :-) Your video was / is exactly what I wished to know. I can do the 2S2P wiring for my hybrid inverter-charger for four 450 watt panels.
Jason I so much appreciate this video Series vs parallel I’ve struggled to understand what the pros and cons are until this video. Thanks so much for your explanation. I saved it for future reference.
Just came back here again from your shade tolerant solar panel video you recently released to brush up while i'm figuring out my own set up. thank you.
Great easy to understand video. You saved me money! I am building a system for a shed I’m building and thought I needed to buy a fuse for the panels I’m wiring in series. Now I don’t need to worry about that. I’ll be watching more.

For a small two panel (100w) lighting set up with two lithium 100amph batteries. Mppt controller and short run wiring, is series on both panels and battery’s best? Full sun no shading. Thanks!
Thanks, been looking to build a garden shed with solar panels on the roof to charge my tool batteries. Your videos have pointed me in the right direction. Really useful information. Thanks again!
Great, you,ve explained it in very simple way that everyone can understand. I’ve see many videos of solar panel installation but this on is best upto now.
The best presentation on this subject. Thank you very much. Please, may I ask you to discuss the process and methods of building a 1 GWh Solar Power Plant?
Thanks a lot - very clear and allowed me to plan my installation within the limits of my controller - 3 x 2 in series and then parallel the 3 sets. Great!
I would like to see a video just on different solar cable/connector options. Touched on it some here but there are so many different ways to set up with branch connections, Y connectors, etc. Roof install vs. ground deploy, Is there a max length to stay under for ground deploy, 20 ft, 30 ft.? What if I have odd number of panels- series or parallel for that? Best solar controller for ground deploy for RV use. Thanks for your videos, they're always great!
Thanks! Nice way to describe all your videos ! Clear explanation -good comparison- unbiased opinion- great job. I often help friends setup there systems and advise them and by watching your videos it sure help me giving good advice and recommend what’s right for them. I also refer them to your videos,You explain it much better then me :)
Thank you for the video. I currently have four 250 Watt panels on my RV wired in series. I ordered two more 250 Watt panels and was leaning toward wiring them in a series parallel configuration. This will max out the available roof space on my 28 ft 5th wheel (limited by 3 skylights). After watching your video (and a few others), I have decided to wire them all in series. My MPPT will handle the increased voltage and I won't need larger wire sizes or fuses. Will just need to be careful when connecting the panels as my maximum voltage will be approaching 140 volts.
With cold temps the voltage will be higher than the spec VOC (like 32F and below). Warmer / hot temps the VOC will be lower than spec 👍All depends on when youll be charging your batteries.
Good video, thanks. Can you do one on hooking up a grid-tie inverter? Specifically, how do you hook up the AC output to the main load in a house? Does it need to hook directly into the main breaker panel or can you just plug it into a wall receptacle? And where would the fuse or breaker be placed in the circuit from the PV source? Thanks.
Great video, thanks. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like the 2s2p diagram is a bit different that the actual wiring you have done on the panels. I don't think it makes a difference, but it's something I noticed. Can anyone confirm or deny. Thanks again.
Hello, thank you for you great videos, please keep them coming! I have a couple questions that you or perhaps someone else might be able to help me with. I bought 4 x 100 watt Renogy brand solar panels (RNG-100D-SS). I plan on installing them on the roof of my pop-up camper / tent trailer. I also bought a Renogy branded Adventurer Solar Charge Controller. I will be charging 2 x 6 volt ‘golf cart’ type batteries. What is the best was to connect the solar panels to the charge controller?Series or parallel? I am thinking in parallel. Appreciate your thoughts!
Thanks for this video. I want to connect a couple of 200w panels to an Ecoflow Delta 2 Max. I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer regarding parallel connection: At 8:06 you said the 12v panels are rated for 15 amps. I didn’t see 15 amps on the data sheet for the panels, so how is that determined? Also since each panel has a short circuit current of 6.11 amps, how did you determine that the total short circuit current would be above 40 amps?
I know that it is late for this, but you didn't show a comparison between the calculated values and what was actually seen at the charge controller. Which setup provided the most power over a day? You should also include a charge controller in your demo, so that people know how to read the limits of their solar charge controller and how that could impact their decision on how to connect their solar panels.
This is a great explanation video. The balance method of series and parallel setup sounds great, going to modify my setup once I get my fourth panel in from all parallel to this mixed option. Especially important was understand how to properly use fuses in the setup.
@@Jasonoid One question, if I understood parallel and fuses correctly, when I hook my two 100 watt panels into the y connector Isc 5.21a Imp 4.1a the fuse should be after the Y connector to protect the other 2 panels in the series setup as parallel? I have four panels, 2 pair in parallel and then series.
Great video! Very well detailed and laid out, thanks. I put together an experimental setup. Six 140w panels on my garage roof setup in a 2s3p arrangement. Putting about 180v into the charge controller in full sun. Along with a battery bank of 16 40ah lead acid batteries arranged in a 48v 4s4p setup. (Used batteries that I was able to grab when they were swapped out of a server room UPS for routine maintenance. ) The goal was to see if I could use solar to at least help with charging my EV car, ebikes and escooters. So far it seems to work. At night after a full day of charge, I can get about an hour of charge into my car before the batteries are drained and the charge controller switches over to grid to continue. Hours longer if it is just my ebike. During they day, charge is naturally longer with the help of solar power. I think the setup is working about as expected. Even though it's only about an hour of charge for the car at night. If I ever get the opportunity to add more panels and switch over to Lithium batteries, I am sure I could get closer to a goal of at least 50% charge from solar for the car.

This video was very helpful. Actually, I've been waiting for this one for a long time. I have looked at many TH-cam videos on the subject, but most skip over the details and since we are dealing with high energy, you cannot be too careful. Can I say I understand this completely; no, but I do get closer. This video does an excellent explaining the connections but I wish there were some screenshots of the various power stations and what solar panels you could connect within there limits. There are videos that either do one or the other, but I have yet to see one do both. Perhaps this is asking for too much, but for the beginner, it would bring it into better perspective. Even seeing it connected to a charge controller for people with DIY 12 volt systems. I know that portable power stations have the charge controller built in but seeing a demostration helps. But this video will help a lot of people for a long time because the manner in which you explain the subject is clear and to the point. Awesome!
This video will help you pick the right solar panel for your specific power station and how to wire them together: th-cam.com/video/4JG8LvJznLY/w-d-xo.html
LOVED YOUR VIDEO VERY VERY IMFORMITIVE. I WANT TO HOOK UP DIRECT INTO THE GRID AND TRY AND SLOW MY POWER COMMING IF FROM THE GRID. WOULD I BE BETTER TO HOOKUP MY PANELS IN SERIES&PARALLEL THEN HOOK UP DIRECTLY INTO MY POWER INVERTER WHICH IS 1200W.
Thanks so much, this video was very helpful to me as I am ready to undertake building a beginner 24 volt system. It all started with my Anker 767 and needing more power to charge quicker. I would like to get this up and running before the peak of hurricane season but I still have the 200 watt portable panel that came with my Anker system and I have an 8000 watt gasoline generator I can use to charge the Anker if there is no sunshine here in the sunshine state. Thanks again and I subscribed to learn more. Ted in Sebastian, Fl.
very helpful video thanks. i recently saw another video by a large channel where the creator talks about this same thing (series, parallel, series+parellel) but only used the 'marketed' voltage, i.e. 12v, 24v, etc. and not the Voc. Two days and much research later, I'm convinced that video was incorrect and potentially dangerous. Thank you for the easy to follow vid with real-world setups.
Did you find this video useful? What other solar topics would you like to see?
i never used fuses on my solar panels .I prob should do you have a link solar panel fuses?
@@mannyfragoza9652 Something like this would work well for each panel (15 amps). If you were fusing the entire array, you'd want to go with something larger. amzn.to/3n1a8Ne
@@Jasonoid cool thanks J
DrJ' I would like to see a Bluetti AC200max vs Ecoflow Delta max vs Anker 767 for emergency home backup🤔🤔🤔
Very useful. Getting into solar generators for the first time is like being thrown into the deep end of the pool. Especially for someone like me who had to make a quick buying decisions after multiple extended outages in a short period of time where dealing with a gas generator became very difficult.
Some topics that I'd like to see covered for the new solar generator buyer:
1) Differences in battery types / technologies.
The single clearest explanation about solar I've seen, ever. Thank you
Very welcome
Yeah been looking for an explanation on the 2S/2P setup cause nobody explains it or shows it.

Very useful tutorial. Thank you.
Your description was very easy to follow and you communicate very well.
I spent 36 years in conventional defense shipboard electronics systems and I find the theories easy to understand but the application is new. Well done videos. I’m subscribing.
Your product reviews are great, but DIY content like this video are next level.

As always, you are the best content provider on TH-cam. Clear, concise, informative, to the point. Never wasting people's time with BS, and irrelevant garbage. Thank you so very much.
Good
Best explanation for this I've found on the internet so far.
I'm glad it's helpful!
I must state you've done an excellent job educating and cautioning about the dangers that could occur when using series or parallel outputs, as well as educating clear discrepancies in series and parallel power outputs to prevent fogged minds from confusing the two. Fantastic !
Appreciate the feedback, glad the video was educational :)

143 And when Moses came to Our appointment, and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, allow me to look and see You.” He said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it stays in its place, you will see Me.” But when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He turned it into dust, and Moses fell down unconscious. Then, when he recovered, he said, “Glory be to you, I repent to you, and I am the first of the believers.”
144 He said, “O Moses, I have chosen you over all people for My messages and for My Words. So take what I have given you, and be one of the thankful
145 And We inscribed for him in the Tablets all kinds of enlightenments, and decisive explanation of all things. “Hold fast to them, and exhort your people to adopt the best of them. I will show you the fate of the sinners.”
36 To every community We sent a messenger: “Worship God, and avoid idolatry.” Some of them God guided, while others deserved misguidance. So travel through the earth, and see what the fate of the deniers was.
16 And mention in the Scripture Mary, when she withdrew from her people to an eastern location.
17 She screened herself away from them, and We sent to her Our spirit, and He appeared to her as an immaculate human.
18 She said, “I take refuge from you in the Most Merciful, should you be righteous.”
19 He said, “I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you the gift of a pure son.”
20 She said, “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, and I was never unchaste?”
21 He said, “Thus said your Lord, `It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign for humanity, and a mercy from Us. It is a matter already decided.'“
22 So she carried him, and secluded herself with him in a remote place.
23 The labor-pains came upon her, by the trunk of a palm-tree. She said, “I wish I had died before this, and been completely forgotten.”
24 Whereupon he called her from beneath her: “Do not worry; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you.
25 And shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards you, and it will drop ripe dates by you.”
26 “So eat, and drink, and be consoled. And if you see any human, say, ‘I have vowed a fast to the Most Gracious, so I will not speak to any human today.'“
27 Then she came to her people, carrying him. They said, “O Mary, you have done something terrible.
28 O sister of Aaron, your father was not an evil man, and your mother was not a whore.”
29 So she pointed to him. They said, “How can we speak to an infant in the crib?”
30 He said, “I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture, and made me a prophet.
31 And has made me blessed wherever I may be; and has enjoined on me prayer and charity, so long as I live.
32 And kind to my mother, and He did not make me a disobedient rebel.

37 But the various factions differed among themselves.
45 O my father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Gracious will afflict you, and you become an ally of the devil.”
46 He said, “Are you renouncing my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will stone you. So leave me alone for a while.”
47 He said, “Peace be upon you. I will ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been Kind to me.
48 And I will withdraw from you, and from what you pray to instead of God. And I will pray to my Lord, and I hope I will not be disappointed in my prayer to my Lord.”
49 When he withdrew from them, and from what they worship besides God, We granted him Isaac and Jacob.
And they will have their provision therein, morning and evening.
63 Such is Paradise which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are devout.

I have struggled understanding series and parallel panel configuration. I feel after watching your video I have a better understanding.
Agreed.
I totally agree have always struggled with parrlel and series now after watching this can safely have a small understanding of it thanks
This is one of the things that people struggle with when installing panels. But the easiest way put, is that in series is the best convenient option. But you are limited by the maximum voltage that your controller can process.
Which one you applied for yours?
Yeah, this dude is an AWESOME teacher ❤👍
Best example of Series and Parallel on TH-cam. Especially since you gave the input on the issue of series panels and shading!
Thanks, it was quite the video to put together!
Best explanation I have heard so far. No wasted time. Thank you!
2s2p sounds like the right ticket for me when I expand my system. This also helps explain what charge controller I need to plan for. Thank you.
Thanks Jason, I am a newbie to anything above plugging a solar panel into my Bluetti. Appreciate the intro.
Well Done!!
Thanks for the warning about high voltage, unbelievably important for people like me.
Super useful video. I wish this existed a few years back, you explained everything so clearly. Be prepared to answer a million questions!
I got my typing fingers ready! haha

And they will have their provision therein, morning and evening.
63 Such is Paradise which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are devout.
64 “We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. His is what is before us, and what is behind us, and what is between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.”
65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. So worship Him, and persevere in His service. Do you know of anyone equal to Him?
111 And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.”
85 Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

THANK YOU! The very best easy-to-understand video for solar newbie I could find. Just the facts. I subscribed!
Great job of explaining series & parallel installations. Also, I never realized that installing a fuse was optional as long as you don't exceed the short circuit current of the panel.
4 And there is none comparable to Him.”
13 To Him belongs whatever rests in the night and the day.
I am not a guardian over you.”
33 So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive.”
34 That is Jesus son of Mary-the Word of truth about which they doubt.
35 It is not for God to have a child-glory be to Him. To have anything done, He says to it, “Be,” and it becomes.
36 “God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
37 But the various factions differed among themselves.
And each We made a prophet.
50 And We gave them freely of Our mercy, and gave them a noble reputation of truth.
51 And mention in the Scripture Moses. He was dedicated. He was a messenger and a prophet.

I also learned this for the first time about the fuse requirements 🎉🎉🎉
Is this statement only true given you use the appropriate gauge wiring? Is his explanation he suggests using a wire that is rated for up to 20amps. I am a total newby to this and want to make sure my logic is alinged. Cheers
Honestly, this is the best go to guide I've watched.

Awesome video. I have ordered an Anker C1000 and (4) 100W panels to dip my feet into solar power. I'll continue to watch your vids to learn how all this works and to hook everything up correctly. Subcribed. :)
Great video for us newbies. Helps us layman learn quickly

53 And We granted him, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, a prophet.
54 And mention in the Scripture Ishmael. He was true to his promise, and was a messenger, a prophet.

56 And mention in the Scripture Enoch. He was a man of truth, a prophet.

So did you go with series or parallel or both?
I have 4 different power stations. Bluetti AC200p has 4 x230 w wired in series, FF Power 2001 has 4x100w wired 2s2p, Okitel P2001 has 2x260 w wired parallel and my FF Power 614 is just a 100 w panel wired straight.
Excellent information. We lost power for weeks from the hurricane and my freezers thawed and i lost all my meats and veggies. I've ordered solar component and am on the learning curve. Thank you very much
Very informative video!
It would of made things easier, for me,
if you put this out about four years ago!
My question for you is, how should we hook up dissimilar panels,
such as 2X 325w, + 2X 270w onto the same array?
Keep your smiles on!
You'll only want to connect them if the voltage / amperage are the same. I'll do a video about mistached panels in the future
Awesome! 👍
i am studying solar to make an educated decision on a solar solution for my teardrop camper. found your channel while looking at 12v fridges. i appreciate your clear, concise explanations.
Sounds like an excellent project! For a small trailer that will be in the shade often, wiring in parallel is your best bet.
Very helpful & easily understood I took screenshots of the 3 configurations 👍👍
I am glad you talked about the fuses and why, and even a little bit about the gauge of wire that is needed to run to the charge controller. Thank you, I wasn't understanding it before:)
I now see why fuses are important. Please 🙏🥺 a video on fuses and types n how to use them.
That's the very best connection, I love the show
Wow! What a helpful video! Thanks for making this video and explaining everything so clearly! ♥
Glad it was helpful!

16 And mention in the Scripture Mary, when she withdrew from her people to an eastern location.
17 She screened herself away from them, and We sent to her Our spirit, and He appeared to her as an immaculate human.

43 O my father, there has come to me knowledge that never came to you. So follow me, and I will guide you along a straight way.
44 O my father, do not worship the devil. The devil is disobedient to the Most Gracious.
45 O my father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Gracious will afflict you, and you become an ally of the devil.”
46 He said, “Are you renouncing my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will stone you. So leave me alone for a while.”

48 And I will withdraw from you, and from what you pray to instead of God. And I will pray to my Lord, and I hope I will not be disappointed in my prayer to my Lord.”

Very well explained. Love the series-parallel connection.
I did not know about fuses, very interesting...😊😊😊
Excellent real world application!
Enjoy your style 👍🏼
I use Red electrical tape wrapped around my black positive cables.
Thank you. I have 31 panels rated 450 watts, and I cannot use them, all. :-) Your video was / is exactly what I wished to know. I can do the 2S2P wiring for my hybrid inverter-charger for four 450 watt panels.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us it was quite helpful ❤
Getting my first power station shortly. Thank you this is a video I will be bookmarking. You just erased a ton of my confusion!
Glad the video was helpful! Lots of these types of videos on my channel 👍
What an excellent video! So easy to follow as you break down the concepts very well. Thank you for taking the time to share!
You're very welcome!
Jason I so much appreciate this video Series vs parallel I’ve struggled to understand what the pros and cons are until this video. Thanks so much for your explanation. I saved it for future reference.
That's the result I was hoping for :)

For a small two panel (100w) lighting set up with two lithium 100amph batteries. Mppt controller and short run wiring, is series on both panels and battery’s best? Full sun no shading. Thanks!
Perfect video! I’ve been waiting for a comprehensive video explaining this! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
I have so many to learn about solar. What a surprise to ger this information you provided. Thank you, you are doing great.
Your right, it is addictive.
I just bought another panel yesterday… Lol
Excellent video, thanks
Thanks,
been looking to build a garden shed with solar panels on the roof to charge my tool batteries.
Your videos have pointed me in the right direction.
Really useful information.
Thanks again!
Great, you,ve explained it in very simple way that everyone can understand. I’ve see many videos of solar panel installation but this on is best upto now.
i did feel a bit overwhelm during series and parraell wiring but your video is very helpful, God Bless!
Great!
Most articulate explanation I've seen yet!
Thank you!!!
Wow, thanks!
This is the best solar panel information I have found. Thank you so much. Would like information on your framing setup.
You might find this video helpful for determining length of your wires and how much power you'd lose: th-cam.com/video/AZIBmFBzBGs/w-d-xo.html
Great video and really well spoken! The 2s2p description was also super clear.
Very nice explanation, with nice schematics, and nice real life connection examples! I enjoyed it a lot! Thanks!
Very good tutorial on solar panels without being too long, tanks 🏴🏴🏴
Indeed helpful. All the way from kenya and i want to go fully solar for my house. Thanks this info
Best of luck!
Thanks! Nice way to describe all your videos !
Clear explanation -good comparison- unbiased opinion- great job. I often help friends setup there systems and advise them and by watching your videos it sure help me giving good advice and recommend what’s right for them.
I also refer them to your videos,You explain it much better then me :)
Thank you so much!
Awesome video. I’m new to doing solar for my RV. I will be watching this video again.
Great explanation. Liked and subscribed.
You probably already have it but I’m looking for optimization, combiner boxes, controller/inverter combos.
This video really helped my understanding of the different types of connections
What a clean explanation 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Best video on TH-cam so far. Very informative.
Thanks.
Thank you!! I should have stayed in school LOL. You do a great job explaining
Great video, thanks. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like the 2s2p diagram is a bit different that the actual wiring you have done on the panels. I don't think it makes a difference, but it's something I noticed. Can anyone confirm or deny. Thanks again.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Excellent explanation of parallel vs series.
Brilliant clear explanation. Would be usefull if you described cable sighes needed in all three scenarios.
even better explained than will prowse!thank you very much, learned a lot.
Glad it was helpful! I wish Will Prowse still did basic educational videos these days.
Glad it was helpful for you!
@@ejthebus1355 with that low amperage per panel you are fine to install fuses after the Y connector.
@@Jasonoid I was pretty certain that was the case, being new to solar wanted to double check, thanks for resonding.
The absolute best video on this subject
Great video! Very well detailed and laid out, thanks.
I put together an experimental setup. Six 140w panels on my garage roof setup in a 2s3p arrangement. Putting about 180v into the charge controller in full sun. Along with a battery bank of 16 40ah lead acid batteries arranged in a 48v 4s4p setup. (Used batteries that I was able to grab when they were swapped out of a server room UPS for routine maintenance. )
The goal was to see if I could use solar to at least help with charging my EV car, ebikes and escooters.
4 And there is none comparable to Him.”
13 To Him belongs whatever rests in the night and the day.
I am not a guardian over you.”
Read The Quran
“I am to you a clear warner.”
“That you shall worship none but God. I fear for you the agony of a painful Day.”
A very clear presentation Jason. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback, Don!
Hi Jason,
This video helped me a little. I didn't understand about the difference between parallel and series. Now I understand a little better. 😊
Thank you so much for simplifying this...going to try it out then move up to one for running my home😮
Thank you for the awesome instructions/explanations! A great video to refer back too 👍
Very welcome!
Excellent video! Straight, simple, and directly to the point.
Bang for your buck, what is the best solar panel to buy for high efficiency DIY project?
Thanks so much, this video was very helpful to me as I am ready to undertake building a beginner 24 volt system. It all started with my Anker 767 and needing more power to charge quicker. I would like to get this up and running before the peak of hurricane season but I still have the 200 watt portable panel that came with my Anker system and I have an 8000 watt gasoline generator I can use to charge the Anker if there is no sunshine here in the sunshine state. Thanks again and I subscribed to learn more. Ted in Sebastian, Fl.
Oh Yes, Keep them coming.
Thank You!
Thank You for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ ☮ ❤
BEST video I've seen on solar panel basics!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video that helped with my solar learning journey
very helpful video thanks. i recently saw another video by a large channel where the creator talks about this same thing (series, parallel, series+parellel) but only used the 'marketed' voltage, i.e. 12v, 24v, etc. and not the Voc. Two days and much research later, I'm convinced that video was incorrect and potentially dangerous. Thank you for the easy to follow vid with real-world setups.
Yeah, the fact that 12v panels actually put out 19 - 23 volts can be confusing. I hate to see other videos causing confusion.
Greatful to you sir. I love your way of explaining. I wish you all the best ✊🙏
